Hello everyone I'm New here but am a long time vaper and currently I'm using a Ziegler 150 watt tc and wanting to upgrade! I wanted to get some ideas on a good mod before I buy one and be stuck with something I don't enjoy! I don't use temp control but want to have a mod that has that option in case I want to use it. It needs to be at least 200 watts and I can't afford a dna 200 mod. What does everyone recommend? I like to sub ohm pretty low. I

How much money do you have to work with? And what are your vaping habits, like how much do you vape a day? Do you go through atleast a pair of 18650's a day? I go through 4 to 6 batteries a day so battery life is a good plus for me but I know no matter what I need to bring batteries with me.

Probably would be looking at something like the Wismec Reuleaux RX200. 200 watt, 18650 x 3, Temp Control. It is pretty heavy but has a nice feel to it. I don't have one myself yet, but lots of folks on the forum do and most seem to love them. They go for around $40 range compared to the Reuleaux DNA200 which is about $150.

Rx200 3 battery beast is a true 200 watt device that has temp control avg price 60 bucks then there is the cuboid upgradable to 200 watts going for arround 45 dollars both are really solid devices.Cuboid is relatively new so if there are bugs and such they havent wiggled themselves to the surface yet but for the price point and the user interface i dont think it really would be an issue as far as the rx200 its been out quite a well....tried and tested and firmware updates every 2-3 months.... so wismec listens to its customers....and its a middle of the road price....then you have the fuchai...60 dollar sigelei device...nothing fancy...straight forward menu...200watt capabality.... nice size and decent battery life....it all comes down to what you are looking for....the cuboid and rx200 have usb ports for firmware updates whereas the fuchai does not.....they also both allow for ss temp control...so if you use a triton, crown, or the ss herakles plus coils, you can vape them in temp control.... rx 200 for true 200 watt and battery life but your trading weight, cuboid for price point and ease of menu...but your trading the length of which it has been out to whether it will have bugs, and then the fuchai which is the in between of both of them that has the sigelei name no ss temp control slightly bigger than the cuboid slightly lighter than the rx200. I have both the fuchai and the rx200 and i will say that i am enjoying the rx200 a whole lot more than the fuchai....not only for just a change of feeling in my hand, but the different options, the longer battery life, and the better chip set. Ultimately the choice is yours though, Almost every 200w device that has come out onto the market has been reviewed by some big name youtuber if for nothing else showing its functions and capabilities. The rest is personal preference. And by the time you decide and get one...the next new and big thing will be out lol.

what are your plans is the main thing....are you looking for sleek and something to fit in your pocket with a nice user interface....then cuboid...are you looking for a beast with a battery that will last you for a while and is a true 200 watt device....i mean it all comes down to what your plans are...is it going to be your new all day personal vaper...then you have to take weight and convenience into account...the rx200 will fit into a coat just fine...but a jean pocket no...and its quite heavy to lug around in your hand....the cuboid on the other hand is quite the opposite...but then there is my only fault with the cuboid is how tough is that hinge battery door really going to be after repeated use.....not an issue if they make a silicon sleeve in the future but can potentially be an issue if it wears out in say 6 weeks.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I can confirm the inconvenience of lugging an rx around in a pocket. It almost caved in a fender on a machine I leaned on and I tend to leave it on my desk most of the time and use a more "portable" device while working. Nutty low price for a treble-celled, 200 watt upgradable device though. Being made of die-cast aluminium makes it pretty tough but again it will stand in as a pretty hefty projectile when you least need it. It will stay upright at anything under 100mph on the high banking, but when she goes she goes with a bang.

My battery cover practically needs to be blasted clear and has never even jiggled, but time will tell on several points as mentioned above. I think the reviewers weighed the beast but also as already mentioned it is not a huge issue as it feels good in the mitt, just not so much in a pocket or other places folks tend to secrete their devices. Sorry pal, no idea about the Sig comparison...

yes it is heavier...you have a third battery so of course you have to keep that in mind.... but its not unbearable as far as uncomfortable to vape with and such....im sure if i were out walking about and didnt have anywhere to put it for an extended period of time it would get tiresome....but other than that the weight for me isnt an issue...the firmware upgrade for it makes a real nice menu change...and it also allows you to adjust the watts with the temp when you decide you want to dive into that side of vaping which is a big plus for me.... i dunno i have been doing a lot of research for the past 3 weeks on devices and if it wasnt for the new sigelei getting pushed back....the one with the iphone looking screen.....the rx200 was the one that just outweighed all the others and that was before i knew there was going to be a firmware update....now with this update you can manually adjust temp coefficient and for those who do temp control that means you can dial in your perfect vape....essentially it is as close to having a dna200 device without actually owning one...

I don't have a 150 watt device myself, but most people I talk to or see go with the Sigelei 150watt TC. All the above ones mentioned would fit the bill really too. Just don't crank them up to 200 watts. It comes down to what feels nice in your hand, and any features you might want. If you have a decent local B&M shop, go check a few out, get an idea of some of the mods in person, you can always order on line, but I find when I go shopping for mods, it helps a lot. What "seems' really cool online, sometimes I hate in person, and vice versa.

I've been told that I go on and on about this but I'll repeat it here anyway. 200w with two batteries will always exceed the continuous discharge rating of the batteries (except with many lipos), which is potentially dangerous. For 200w you'll want a three-battery mod, and if you want to actually do 200w you'd be smart to get at least 20 amp batteries (Sony vtc4, LG hb6. The Sony vtc5 is a 20 amp battery). The Reuleaux rx200 is a good choice (actually better than the DNA 200 version, IMO). It's surprisingly small but fitting it into pant pockets might be difficult/uncomfortable. It fits in my rather small jacket pocket without any problems though.
