Help! Cleaning Kanger MT3?!

Hey guys, so I got my MT3 and I love it so much, but it smells fresh outta the factory and taste like new tennis balls I know it probably needs a cleaning, especially because I have some new juices that should be in the mail tomorrow or the next day. I've been looking like crazy and cannot find a video or detailed blog about how to clean this tank, and I don't want to mess it up! Also, this is the only tank I have and I have 1 replacement coil, so is there anyway I can have this guy cleaned AND dry and ready to vape before I get a nicotine attack?

Any suggestions or links would be amazing.

Isopropyl alcohol shake and fill twice blow dry or do it before u go to bed

I soak all my new stuff in vodka for an hour or so, rinse with warm water, shake and let dry.

Do these come apart anything like evods? I've been thinking about getting a few but that's my only set back. I think evods are one of the easiest that I've used to clean or change flavors.

Yes, they are similar to the Evod.

Simply unscrew the coil from the bottom clean as stated above I use isopropyl because I can't stand to waste vodka it goes in my oj and screw on replacement coil just clean if you are replacing juices 1 coil lasts up to 3 weeks for me at $2 per coil and $8 initial investment can't beat it

I personally have cleaned my T3 and MT3 with hot water and have been successful getting rid of the old juice taste.

Also, all of the Brick and Mortar stores I have been to and a lot of other users I have read use Everclear over Isopropyl rubbing alcohol. It evaporates very fast (similar to hand sanitizer) and get it's very clean. Also grain alcohol has the added benefit of being safer than Isopropyl rubbing alcohol...Or so I have heard...still a noob here

I'm kind of a newb, but from what I can tell they look really similar, bottom coil, top piece doesn't come apart kind of deal. How do you clean yours?

Do the drip tips screw off or are they one piece like the evods? And look up dry burning videos to resurrect coils and wicks that just aren't making the cut anymore.

I snt like the idea of smoking any residual alcohol, so I just use hot water to clean everything.

That's true. Everclear or vodka is what the vets recommend all the time.

If you have the bottom screwed of and the head taken out I use mine within 2 hours. Of course I lightly blow off most of the water before I let it sit.

You can purchase the replacement heads 5 pack from myvapestore.com for around $10 haven't had any luck cleaning old coils they get gummed up and $2 every 3 weeks not to bad you can even rebuild the heads I bought enough kanthal wire and silica wick to make around 400 heads for $28

No problem! I like the T3 better because of the clear tank and higher capacity (but that's a different clearo than the MT3). I think I may like my Evods better than the MT3, but there's really not a lot of difference to me. They're both good clearos!

If it's not too gunked up from juice you can let it soak in hot water for a bit, but it doesn't have to be 100% dry before you use it. You can just pat dry with a paper towel and blow the water out (from the end where it contacts the battery) and vape. The first few hits may be a little weak, but it doesn't take long to get the full flavor back. Just be sure the battery contact part is fully dry before you put it back onto your battery.

I usually just the tank and head out with hot water. Alcohol soaking really doesn't seem to do anything but waste alcohol IMHO. You can dry burn them but they never tasted right after that to me. TO dry them I just hold the tank tightly and fling the water out into the bathtub. The head I wipe down with paper towel, holding it on the wicks for a bit to get some water out of them. I just fill and start vaping after that, the first few hits will be a little weak until all the water evaporates.

Just for reference the main difference between an EVOD and an MT3 is that the the head is replaceable with the EVOD. With the MT3, you have to replace the whole base unit - which is usually more expensive. $1.50 for an EVOD head and usually $2.99 for the MT3
