I've tried Boge and Smoketek....can taste the polyfill in both. It is pretty much all the time. I'm fine using clearomizers such as Phoenix and Stardust......but would really like to use a tank. Tried a Mom and Pop small tank with a Boge recently...just couldn't stand the taste of the juice through the carto. Same juice in a clearo tasted fine.

The Mom and Pop mini sub tank, by the way, was ok until you try and change the carto, and the whole thing comes apart. I got pretty disgusted and threw the pieces in a box.

If you want to try to reassemble the M&P tank someday, it's not that hard, just different. I put a grommet on the bottom of carto ( or whatever ) slide it into tank- just until the red oring is in fully. Then I put the drip tip on and slide the other grommet down same way.

I've searched and can't find anything on using a clearo in a tank..........

This is an Interesting 3ml Tank. You can replace the Wick/Coil be simply screwing on a New One.

Thanks Zoid. I do have a Vivi Nova....still sitting in the box at this point, but will probably break it out today. I am just lusting after a couple of cool looking tanks (Phiniac/LavaTank), but they all use cartomizers. I wondering why you couldn't cut a notch or drill a hole in something like a CE2, and use it like a cartomizer?? Gotta think it has been tried.....looking for some feedback. A

Thanks....I know I can put it back together....just no reason to bother if I have to use a polyfill carto that tastes yucky.

Sure you can Notch a CE2 and put it in a Tank. No reason why you can't. I wouldn't drill it because it might be hard to keep all the plastic chips from getting stuck in the CE2 wick.

I've been happy with he Vivi Nova Tank. The Flavor isn't quite what a CE2 gives and it takes a tank or so of e-Liquid to Break It In, but over-all it's not a bad design.
