Im 13 days cigarette free, I know that can cause mouth sores/ulcers. But can certain juices cause them as well? Last time I quit for 3 weeks and never got them. Im vaping boss reserve, 6 nicotine and before that I was vaping unicorn milk. Both by cuttwood. Some one told me to switch PG and vg around so what is the PG and vg in what I'm currently vaping and what should I switch too?

Ive seen alot of threads about people reporting this but never saw any follow up. To me this makes since you spent years putting toxins in your body threw smoking It makes since you are going to have some side affects from your body dealing with both the detox and addiction remember there are lots more chemicals in cigs other than nic.
On the up side This is a temporary phase and most report after about a year of vaping improved gum health. So possibly lighten up on the PG a little and hang in there it gets better.

IMAO, I wouldn't drink it, so I'd be a fool to doubt it.

There's a certain banana flavored hard candy that I love but can't eat because it irritates my mouth. Last time I ate it, it caused two nasty sores on both sides of my mouth that took months to heal because I kept biting them. Can't blame the candy itself, because I can eat the apple, grape, and strawberry flavors with no issues. It's just that banana that causes problems.

So what is it? The flavoring? Who knows, but the same stuff is used in eliquid. Your suspicion doesn't sound all that far-fetched to me. Apparently there's no "Science" yet to back it up, so it must be impossible...

Some people can get rebounding quit smoking symptoms - symptoms that pile on or get worse - from repeated quit/return/quit smoking attempts.

There are also other possibilities - like a vitamin B deficiency - combined with quitting smoking that could be the source of the problem. But mouth ulcers aren't a common "connect the dots" issue to problems with liquids though.

Some people can also react negatively to the artificial sweeteners and such in commercial ejuice. I did and had to DIY my own ejuice. Can you tolerate artificla sweetners in drinks and such? If so this is probably not the cause of your problem. But then I am not a doctor nor did I just stay in a Holiday Inn Express.

What is spitback?

spit back is hot juice popping threw your drip tip.
Here is a tip for every question you ask you get lots of answers that wont apply or have nothing what so ever to do with your post.
Just pick threw the the ones that seem like they might apply to you and dont pay any attention to the ones that don't.

So if it is spit back would I actually feel it or taste it? I'm trying to eliminate everything I can, soup is getting old now an I wanna eat without my mouth burning lol

yes you would know
IMO just give it some time possibly cut back on the Pg a little on your next juice order, and the vitamin suggestion is not a bad one
lots of things can cause mouth sores diet, stress HSV1 AKA cold sores fever blisters its estimated 90% of the population has this.
Toxins release from your body from not smoking and lot of other things not mentioned.

Rumi is dead on correct! I was getting canker sores all the time until I switched to Biotene toothpaste. Biotene does not have Xylitrol like all other toothpastes. Xylitrol is a chemical that makes the toothpaste foamy. Biotene is one of the highest recommended toothpastes out there. It is the only one my dentist recommends! You can buy it on EBay or at your local Walgreen's pharmacy. I have not had one single canker sore since using Biotene!

I've been researching xylitol and found that sodium laurel sulfate, found in many toothpastes apparently can cause mouth irritation/ canker sores. Amazon sells squigle enamel saver toothpaste and a lot of the reviews say it helps for canker sores. Sorry it's not an answer but maybe helpful I hope.
