I can't get any footing back in the rankings...even with the large file that completed today. And I can't pause a single WU - it's always both - what's up with that?
Looking at your main FoH page, highlight the slot that you want to pause in your "folding slots" section, right click will open a drop menu, choose "pause" and it will paise just that slot. Same steps to un pause it
Notice in my pic that I have my GPU slot paused.

So yeah. . . Mine has never looked liked that. And didn't have the drop down menu at the top for novice, advanced, and expert. I dragged the window out a bit and bam there it was, thanks even though you didn't post that for me. This is much nicer. =)
My pleasure .kmh.! Funny thing is that I never do screen captures and (please feel free to laugh) had to look up how to do it 
Bad news is I'm going to have to pull my vid card out and give it's fans a thorough cleaning before I can continue folding with it. Took a nap this afternoon with both slots running and after 2 hours, my GTX 285 was hot as a fire cracker. Can't afford to upgrade it any time soon, but taking it outside and hitting it with my shop vac in reverse will blow the snot out of it LOL!

Yeah don't melt it. I've been there lol. The entire fan was melted to the board. I have used liquid cooling since.

Just out of pure curiosity and trying to gauge my computer a bit, what is everyones ppd according to the client? Mine honestly seems kinda high. It a nice computer but it is going on 2 years old now. My ppd currently is 37,700 and keeps slowly going up.

If that's Total Estimated Points Per Day at the bottom of the screen, mine says 1875 - my machine's about 3 years old. I've yet to complete the first unit yet, though I just started it night before last (I'm at roughly 45%).
Yup it is at the top and bottom of the client. If your running off just the CPU it will be lower. I was reading in the FAQs somewhere on f@h that graphic cards are the best computing power currently, used to be the ps3.
Before I figured out the SLI issue and was running off just my CPU it was taking awhile.

Well, I failed my week long project again. I gave up and uninstalled. Must be the internet speed was scorching the day they assigned it to me or something! Got a little further the second time, but only because it had a 7 day deadline instead of 6. Still barely made it past 85% complete. I hate that none of it counts when I've been folding constantly since Dec 6th
I will take up cheerleading (gotta work on my backspring a bit )

Well, I failed my week long project again. I gave up and uninstalled. Must be the internet speed was scorching the day they assigned it to me or something! Got a little further the second time, but only because it had a 7 day deadline instead of 6. Still barely made it past 85% complete. I hate that none of it counts when I've been folding constantly since Dec 6th

Try re-installing ..... I had a glitch somewhere along the line with the GPU processing.....changed my settings to uni processor - big job - slow as mud - I waited til that job was done and uninstalled and reinstalled the software...all fixed. Course I've dropped in team standings but......that's not the point

Sounds like I'll encounter something similar in a day and a half when this unit completes - we shall see. It's my first one, so if I have to reinstall, no big whoop really
Apparently there was a GPU issue with the software for some graphics cards. It has since been corrected if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully it will fix your problem.
I may end up with the same issue.

That's too bad Paislia. Sorry it didn't work for you. I'd be pretty bummed to. I've been working on my first WU for almost 2 wks and I'll be pretty upset if it doesn't complete. At least you tried.

You can pause your GPU units while you are on the computer and it should be unnoticeable as far as performance. as long as you turn the gpu units back on when you are done they'll get completed.
