I have a uwell crown 1 and the coils from aliexpress , ebay etc were $5 per 5 coils.
Now I cannot find my coils on ebay or aliexpress.. so frustrating.

1. i need to find a new tank that uses Mesh coils and 2. coil prices are cheap for a big pack.
the uwell crown 1 is a solid tank and i have been using it for years but the flavor and clouds are no where near these new mesh tanks.

online it says the best tank is the OFRF nexMesh tank. The coils are $10 for 2 coils
Runner up: SMOK TFV16 the coils are $15 for 3 coils
Horizon Falcon king: $13 for 3 coils
Freemax mesh pro: $10 for 3 coils

I make my own juice and every tank I have tried I can get 1 week max out of the coils.

The china uwell crown 1 coils for $1 lasted me about 4-5 days per coil if I was lucky.

So im trying to find a tank i dont care about the price of the tank, trying to find mesh coils that will last 1 week+ at a decent price. Aliexpress and ebay are no longer options. i want to buy direct from china because I can wait for the coils and pay less vs usa sellers. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The life of a coil will be dependent on your usage and how sugary your juices are. Higher wattage will yield a shorter lifespan and sweeter juices will result in a coil that gunks up quicker.

For Subohm tanks, I have had great results from both Freemax and Vaporesso. Freemax Mesh Pro utilizes a proprietary coil, so your choices are limited to only what they have to offer. Vaporesso SKRR and NRG, utilize their GT Core coils, which are the same dimensions as a Smok TFV8 Baby Beast. There are approx. 20+ manufactures that make compatible coils so much more to choose from. There area number of other tanks that utilize the same dimension coil as the TFV8 BB – I’m sure others will chime in on what they are.

But longevity of both the Freemax and Vaporesso coils are still dependent on the juice that you use. I’ve used juice with both that only resulted in approx. a weeks use - and have used juice that resulted in over a months use.

To expand on @bombastinator comment, if ongoing cost is a value you wish to mitigate, rebuildable’s maybe a wise alternative. With cartridge type coils you pay for convenience – the ease of just swapping out a prebuilt coil. Rebuildable, RDA or RTA, are much more cost effective but come with the added complexity of rebuilding/rewicking. That said it is not difficult and with a little exposure, can become second nature. The initial upfront cost of a rebuildable maybe more than a cartridge type coil – but the ongoing cost is much, MUCH cheaper and will pay for itself within a very short time.

If wish to stick with mesh, the Wotofo Profile Unity could be a good choice. Lots of compatible mesh strips to choose from, which are cheaper than cartridge type coil. And the wicking material is dirt cheap – a years supply of Muji cotton is only a few bucks…same with a lifetimes supply of Rayon. And if going with a coil based RTA, this ongoing cost can be reduced even further by purchasing wire in bulk spools. Both mesh and coils can be cleaned and reused resaulting in a much greater longevity. But understand this does come with a learning curve on how to build properly - again not difficult but a value that must fit your needs.

thanks for the input. The juice I make i use about 1%em and 0.5% sweetner.
The TFV coils I think you can get a 5 pack for $14
The Freemax mesh pro coils are 3 for $10

Should I just try the TFV coils since it seems to be the best value and not much different from the freemax mesh pro

Much more to a juice than just the amount of sweetener used. Certain flavours can also result in a quicker gunking.

I personally am not a fan of Smok’s coils, especially their TFV8 line. It is difficult to judge a coil based on it cost. Freemax Mesh Pro could very well last longer than a cheaper Smok TFV8 – never compared so no comment (although I highly suspect it will). So despite the Freemax maybe more expensive, in the long run it could be cheaper.

your not a fan of the smok coils because why? Do they not last long?

Smok has a tendency of following high power trends which results in a coil that does not last as long. They were late to the game with introducing mesh to their TFV8 Baby Beast line so no comment.

Smok’s Quality Control is also questionable.

I own 1 Smok Baby Beast tank (waiting for a razing from @Baditude), it works, but the quality is no where near that of the Vaporesso NRG SE of almost identical size. The Smok tank is a royal pain to disassemble with the coil constantly getting stuck needing extra force to remove.

The Vaporesso NRG SE coils are 3 for $10 same as the freemax mesh pro.

Any differences between them?

Seemed to have narrowed down these two tanks for purchase.
I found the Vaporesso NRG SE coil three pack on a china website for $7.99 for 3 coils

The coils for the NRG SE are the GT Core coils.

And yes, there are a difference between them and the Freemax Mesh Pro. As for longevity between the mesh counterparts, I would say they are very similar based on what I have been exposed to with my usage and juice. That is not to say either will last longer than a week with your juice – I do not use your juice therefore I have no benchmark. As mentioned above, my results vary depending on the juice used.

What is/are the flavor content (%) of the juice(s) you use?
How many ML of juice do you use per day?

Do you have a second device you could use along with your primary device? You may find the coils last a bit longer if you are not dependent on one unit 24/7.

Cheers

That is not a lot of juice consumption, and fruits are generally less susceptible to gunking than say desert type flavourings. I have never used a Uwell tank so can’t comment on the longevity of their coils, but suspect you should get much more than a weeks use with that juice consumption.

Just to note, the Freemax Mesh Pro is a Direct to Lung atomizer – the coils are large thus producing a fair amount of vapor. This should fit with your style of vaping. The Vaporesso NRG with the mesh coil will be similar but a little less than the Freemax. An if you are comfortable with ceramic coils, you can use the GT Core CCELL with the NRG – less power and little less vapor production than the mesh

The smok tfv12p is a well manufactured tank but coils can be a problem as quality control by smok is rubbish, the freemax mesh pro is superb for flavour but with mine I have a problem with the cap sliding open, the freemax fireluke is also superb and I like it better than the pro, I have a unity mesh rebuildable and after a week with it I'm loving it, it's not hard to wick, you just have to make sure you have enough cotton and trim it so it fits the tank and mesh strips are dirt cheap

Did you follow a guide on how to rebuild the mesh.. something you can share?
How long does it take to rebuild?

After everything im reading here and thinking about it sounds like i should just build my own coils. are they better than the triple coils you can just buy?
