Help. Getting logged out of ECF every five minutes.

Hi guys,

I can't seem to stay logged in longer than 5 minutes. Though lasting longer than 5 minutes has always been a problem for me, I think I should be able to easily fix that here. By the time I'm done reading a thread, I'm out. Can't find any options to control this. Any thoughts?

Did you check the "keep me logged in" box?

I'm probably staring right at it but can't find it! Where would that box be?

I believe it's right below where you log in. If not under the entry fields then on top.

I should add that you have to be logged out to see it.

It's happened to me a couple of times today, and I did click the Remember Me box. I did follow a link I found, using the "open in new window" and then returned here and was logged out. Advice?

Not sure what web browser you guys are using. I use Firefox and had the same problem. All you have to do is got to tools(top left between bookmarks and help), choose options, select privacy from top icons, click show cookies, find the folder containing the cookies you get from this website(usually marked as the e-cigarette-forums.com), delete everything in the folders including the folder itself, hit ok at the bottom of the window. Now you just wanna navigate your self back to the privacy page (tools>options>privacy), hit the exceptions button and type the forums http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com and hit ok. When all this is down close your browser and reopen new one and it should be fixed. BOOM

don't forget when you resign in to click the remember me button too.

I have this problem but with a bunch of different sites with windows 7. I click save but eventually I have to keep resigning in.
