Help - juice got into my mod

Hi all,

I need some expert advices.

I just got my new evic vtc mini and subtank mini yesterday. Unfortunately, my very first tank of juice had completely leaked from my stupid subtank mini and went into my evic..

My mod couldn't worked properly now.Power button doesnt work and immediately went auto firing once I hit the +/- buttons.

I really hope to hear some advice if not I gotten dump it away.. Especially the sub tank made me sick everytime I looked at it now..

It is okay, we all learn from our mistakes. All had our fair share of expensive lessons..

The way I see it, your mod is toast. Now this is a really pessimistic call. But unfortunately e-juice is not like water. You can't put your mod in a bed of rice and hope it will completely dry out. You can try though. But the composition of juice as it is.. (VG, PG, nicotine,) in all its sticky glory only serves to give you the finger in your attempts at salvaging it.

My ? Do not be disheartened. Invest in another mod. Start over. Learn from where you went wrong. Did you tighten your OCC or RBA properly? Were any O rings missing? Missing gaskets? Damage? Was your tank a clone? Etc etc. Reflect back in a systematic way and move on from there. Don't let all these setbacks steer you back down the path of analogues. You'll come out of this tougher and wiser. Keep vaping my friend. Don't give up.

Damn that is indeed dangerous. In my opinion you should throw away since its probably short circuit. But maybe experts here have ways to save your mod

I have done my best stripping almost everything and clean up the mess inside with thinner but sad to say.. Its gone and the subtank mini just kill my mod.

I not too sure whether is clone or what but look exactly the same as my other old subtank mini.. Sad

I doubt so cos after I cleaned the interior and blow dry with hair dryer. I think there is a short circuit in the board.

Just make sure your sub tank dun leak. Mine completely leaked and went into the mod. I opened up the evic and was in a mess.. Juice dried up formed into thick substance and difficult to clear..

As for sub tank, I suspect might be faulty wick

You could try wiping down the board with alcohol pads and let it dry. All the best pal.

Rubbing alcohol and a small paint brush will clean up the mess a popped capacitor leaves behind! Give it ample time to allow any excess alcohol to evaporate off.

That's too bad, sorry that happened to you.
My subtank leaked to and then it stopped. I think the o ring just slipped out of place.
That's something that could have happened to me when I started too.

My first subtank mini never leaked till that extend.. This new subtank was terrible! I was using it for almost 2 hour and nothing happened till morning I saw the whole tank was empty.. Too late already

surface capacitor looks ok and yup try wiping down with alcohol pad. Lift and check under the screen as well.

Not too sure if subtank clone has any issue with it, depending on where the leaking point is.
If it leaked through the bottom of the glass probably bottom O-ring was misaligned, if leaked through air hole (provided using RBA or even OCC) cotton is too little.

I think the leakage is from the air holes so I suspected might be faulty occ from package.

I able to power on the evic and screen is ok and able to read ohm when tank is installed but buttons are not functioning..

probably juice are preventing contact on your buttons, thats a good thing. Should be able to slowly fix it back since everything else seems ok other than the buttons. Good Luck!

Get a mech mod!

Use pure vodka to dap clean. Don't wipe. Dap. Then let it dry in room temperature. Wait for a day. You can try the rice method.

Happened to me once, alcohol and patience saved the day. Hope it does for you too.
