I can't find a tank I like. I just want something that's 22mm, doesn't leak in my pocket, and that I can get a decent lung hit off of. Kayfuns were great for flavor, but didn't have nearly enough airflow. I never tried the dual air inlet models, but I figured it would still be restricted by the center post anyway. The Fogger 4.4 had more airflow than a Kayfun, but still not enough. Of the ones I haven't tried but were looking at:

-EHPro Pontus got trashed by Rip in his review, and I've found some other bad reviews of it as well.
-I can't afford the Big Dripper and I can't find a clone that's in stock and that I want to take a gamble on buying (accepting suggestions!).
-Eleaf LEMO is 23mm.
-Orchid doesn't look like it would have any better airflow than a Kayfun (I could be wrong).
-Taifun GT has a lot of wasted space in the tank and the wicks don't appear to reach to the bottom (and it doesn't look like it has any better airflow than a Kayfun).
-I saw a good review on the UD AGA-T5, but I'm not a fan of the brass parts. Might still get this if I can't find a better option.

Am I off on any of this? Are there any other options out there?

I know, I'm picky.

Orchid clone has excellent airflow. I use lung hits with it. It is just a tad tighter than my authentic tugboat, which has just about the perfect draw. I'd say for $17 it's worth a try.

With any vacuum type tank, heat will cause the pressure to rise and cause leaking. Filling it is a PITA, I top fill, hold the holes, start tightening the top cap, flip it, release the holes and screw tight. I've got it down pat but still a PITA.

Maybe dive into genesis attys? I had a good experience with a Pyrex RSST for several months before I made the switch to a Reo. Drill that top cap out to 5/64 and it's a nice draw with a good amount of vapor and flavor. Beyond that, maybe actually consider a Reo if your confident and educated on mechs.

I have a modified Trident V2 on mine, and it has pretty good airflow for what it is. I can throw way bigger clouds than any tank out there and while it won't perform like a full blown mech/dripper setup, it comes real close. I have it at .32 ohms right now and it's pretty nuts

JHDublin: Yeah, I'm currently using the Fogger. As I mentioned in my post. And my signature. :?: I was looking for something with even more airflow. Maybe it's a manufacturing flaw in the ones I have, but even with the airflow control ring removed, they're still fairly restrictive for my taste. What I really want is a tank that hits like a dripper, even though I know that's unrealistic.

nynvolt: You're right - at $17, I might as well give the Orchid a try. It is kinda bulgey though...

brickfollett: I confess to not knowing much about gennies. Do they have any drawbacks? I think I read somewhere that they require tilting, like the old top coil clearos. I've been eyeing the Reo for a while now, but I like tube mods over box ones...

And please guys, stop recommending drippers. I want a TANK - for the portability. If I could tote my Veritas clone around without it leaking all over my pocket I would.

I haven't seen rip tripper's review, but I love my Pontus. I was looking for the same thing, a tank that hit like an RDA, and it does it perfectly. The only issue I've had, at all, is that I can flood it if I over drip, same as any dripper. Only thing I've tried that worked better was a Reo, but I couldn't get over the aesthetics of those.

They require a lot of patience. Get an rsst and drill it, see what you think. It's a completely different experience

I should have my Orchid V2 clone and my Big Dripper clone in a couple days. I'm so excite! Also what roadie said, there are quite a few sellers on ebay that have the big dripper clone in stock. It's where I ordered mine.
I just can't deal with not being able to see my juice. Maybe somebody will make a big dripper tank with a clear section someday and I'll see how it compares to the Pontus.

If you were a fan of the Kayfun did you ever think about drilling out the air holes or adding another air hole?
