I used to have a dse901 about a year ago..It was decent and I liked it. After it broke, I gave up on the whole e cig thing and went back to regular cigarettes.

Now I want to come back and Im looking for a new e cig. I want something with a battery that will last me all day, hits hard and is around 50 bucks.

Any help would be great!

Thank you :)

OMG, I just made a big ol' post with a bunch of links and I lost it.

I'll have to get the links again. Lots of big battery pvs to chose from in that price range and all are great!

Liberty Flights has the ego for $29.99
E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings
mad vapes has the Mega ego with DCC for about $45
MadVapes 510 Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer Kit
mad vapes has the epower for under $50
E-Power Replacable Battery kit!
Hoosier has the KGo with 1100 mah batteries for $45 and they have an epower
eGo 1100 mAh 2 battery kit

Bill in the Suppliers section has an echo, igo and echo-e for $45 (I'll get you the link).

All are good. You'd be happy with any of them.

To last all day and hit hard, you will need to move up to about $100+. But a much better alternative to the 901 is the E-Power. A much better "beginner" PV that will give you 5 hours on a charge is one of the better 3.7 volt PV's:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - E-Power

What is minimum resistance carto that works well on E-Power?

24mg to 36mg eliquid hits very hard; too hard for me.

Lots of people like Ego. Fewer like the tanks. but the T comes with the 5 click disable/enable batteries. Tank or non-tank can all use tank atty+tanks, normal attys + drip tip or ugh cart, cartomizers

Gotvapes is expecting some clone 3-stage Ego batteries and kits (clone Ego, not Joye) - 3.2, 3.7. 4.2v

I use Riva 510, popular Ego clone (the new ones at Liberty-Flights.com which are slightly higher volts than Ego)

BTW tanks like 20-30% VG. Ditto for reservoir cartos. You may have to thin thicker juices.

Check Liberty-Flights.com prices after pressing the 20% off upper left front page and make sure you are on the US .com site. The checkout may go through a UK payment processor. They also have a UK site.

Depends on what kind of setup you're looking for.

From what I've seen lurking about in another e-cig community (one which pointed me here, I might add), it seems like most of the folks there go with an eGo system if they're planning on going with a tank-based setup as opposed to a cartridge-based one.

I'm not precisely clear on the advantages and disadvantages of each variant, but I have to say that I rather like my Smokeless Image Volt, which is a cartridge-based PV whose cartridges are designed to be refillable. (That's not to say that you can't refill the cartridges for other cartridge-based systems, but they may not designed to make it easy.)

I highly recommend the Jessy M. I was using a Vapor King for about a year, but I got tired of cartomizers and wanted to start dripping. I demo'ed an eGo and a Jessy at Freedomsmoke USA's lounge (which is pretty damn awesome). The eGo was really good, but the Jessy M blew me away! Still haven't gotten the hang of the tanks, but the flavor I get from dripping with the VV is amazing.

Re ohms and Ego. Ego is around 3.2-3.4 volts, more fresh off the charger.

Some people won't go below 2.0 ohms on Rive/Ego/etc style batteries and will only go lower with mods that have removable industrial AA-shape batteries that are cheap and easy to replace, easy to see damage on when charging them in their AA-look battery charger. Some people go to 1.7 for the Cisco LR 306 attys. A few will go to 1.5 for the 1.5ohm dual coils.

Buy a Provari.
Throw your budget to the wind. Pay the big bucks once and save money in the long run. Investigate it on the forum. You get what you pay for and better to buy a Excellent unit one time and save money in the long run, than buy lot's of cheap units and always be replacing them. You simply don't find negative reviews of the Provari and all the other ones in the market seem to have a certain dissatisfaction rate.
I started out buying the cheapies and soon learned that by paying less, I was spending more.
