Been vaping for 4 years, only use V4l, using small tank and dual core carts. I usually go through 4 sometimes 5 XL Titan batteries a day, drive for work and vape all the time. I like the Titan batteries and they fit in my pencil cup holder. How big (wide) compared to these are the Dial-a-Volt and the Zeus compared to these? and how long do they last? I usually get 3-4 hours on a XL Titan.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Shelly

Shelly, I am not really good at being descriptive, but I shall try to help. The small and medium DAV's are almost exactly the size of a 3.5 ml tank system... meaning the tanks fit really flush on them. So just imagine the tank extended down the entire length of the battery to get a feel for the size. The XL DAV fits pretty well flush with the 6 ml tank, so is a good size bigger. In length, the small and medium DAV's are just slightly longer than a regular titan battery. While the XL DAV is just slightly shorter than the XL titan. Either one would easily fit in a cup holder.

I have never really timed how long they last battery wise, but I am a very heavy vaper, and I can get through most the day with 2 of the smaller DAV's and pretty much all day on the XL DAV (turned all the way up to 4.8). Of course the DC tank at higher volts will lesson your battery time to a certain extent.

I have the DAV's, auto Zeus and dual mode Zeus and if I had to pick a favorite, it would be difficult. I love the DAV's because they are adjustable and I can change them up for whatever tank carto I have on it. However, I usually find myself using the 1.5 dc in all my tanks, but some juices do better at different volts. I love the Zeus with the smileos....... because they are so made to be together. The voltage is set at 5 and that may be too much for certain juices with a 1.5 dc carto...... but the smileos can handle it because the are lower resistance and sc. I honestly have not tried my Zeus with a tank, so I can't really speculate on how I would like it. The advantage of the Zeus is the faster charging time and the fact that you can charge and vape at the same time if necessary.

I know someone will be along to describe the differences so much better (and maybe provide pictures) to help you out.... but I would say you won't go wrong with a DAV! You might want to try the smaller one to start and then work up if you need.

    Hi Shelly,

I don't have my XL on hand today, but here are 3 pics of a regular length manual with prefilled, next to the medium (900) DAV VV with smileomizer.

Thanks all so much, can you use a tank on the DAV and does it charge on a regular slim charger? The smileomiser is it just like refilling a cart only bigger? Does it keep the taste (same flavor) all the way down, like a tank? I use mainly peppermint, grape and cinnamon roll.

I forgot how helpful this sight is, thanks again!!!!

Shelly, yes, you can use tanks on the DAV, and yes they use the slim line charger. The smileos hold 3.5 ml juice (I think), similar to the small tank, and as long as you keep them moist they taste great. I use a syringe to fill them - quick, easy, painless. :) The only negative to them is that most people find the rubber tip cumbersome - altho there are ways around using them (search this forum). I love the grape in my smileo!

+1 to what K9 said! The smileo is just like a big cart.... easy to fill, even without a syringe (however, I use one for the initial fill, but only because I am super lazy).... I just drip to refill. To me, they do change the taste of the juice slightly from what it would be in a tank, but not necessarily in a negative way. That is the beauty of them... the same juice will be slightly different in a tank or smileo! The only issue I have with them is the tips... I don't like the big roundness of them... but I am getting more and more used to it... the plus side is that you can slightly bite into them, so they don't seem so round in use. Also anything with cinnamon is harder on them... so will reduce the lifespan. I love my cinnablaze, so I just deal with it, but I don't get near the life out of them as others do with less caustic juices.
