Help me explain the difference between an unregulated box mod and a mechanical mod

mech mod, no wires.... unregulated box mod, possible wires.... now we need to figure out what a Reo is... unregulated box or a mech

A mech mod has not wires and is unregulated, but a mod that is just unregulated will have wires at least to the switch sometimes to the threading as well. Now a Reo unless it is a woodville or one of his vv's is a true mech mod.
