Hi, all! Ok, so I've been a vaper for over two years now...life is great and smoke-free, woo hoo! I'm an exclusive customer of vapor4life. For the past two years, I've been using strictly vapor king diamond series, stealth series, and the "regular ash cap" batteries, all automatic, along with a mix of prefilled carts and blanks with juice. I want to buy some of the new products I keep seeing in my email and on the site, but after trying to research...I just can't figure it out! I feel overwhelmed by all the options, ohms, volts, tanks...BLAH, CONFUSION!

So here is my plea of help. Can someone either explain or point me in the right direction the differences between the OMG mod, the Dial A Volt, the EGO, the Aurora? (There's also a handle, what's that all about?). I don't understand the difference between all of them, and I don't really understand the concept of a tank...seems like a normal cart floating in a case of juice? Do I still have to buy carts? Also, do these require converters or anything? Can I use the same chargers I already have? Which kits are the best deals for me, considering I already own the standard chargers, carts, and juice?

I think I've narrowed things down to the handle or the EGO, but I'm just not sure.

Thank you so much in advance, I know I'm a pain, but I just feel overwhelmed and can't seem to search the correct terms to find what information I'm looking for. I would love any recommendations you all have, basically what I'm looking for is a unit that hits well and consistently. I'm also not picky about switching over to a manual style button. Thanks!

So there's an OMG AD (All Day) and an OMG VV (Variable Voltage). The OMG AD is pretty much just a big battery, named the All Day because it could last you all day on one charge depending on your vaping habits. The VV has a function that allows you to change the voltage. So instead of vaping at the same voltage all the time you can ramp it up or down depending on your personal preference. If you've ever used a Passthrough and you like the high voltage then this is like a cordless PT but with more options. These use batteries that you take out and recharge instead of having to charge your device. Just pop in a fresh battery and vape away.

The Ego and the Dial-A-Volt (DAV) have the same differences as the OMG AD and VV. The Ego is a fat batt that holds a charge longer than a stick batt. The DAV is shaped like the Ego but with the VV capabilities.

IMO, do not buy the Aurora unless you just want to try it out. There are no spare batts or tanks for it, so it's like a one time use. I mean, the battery is rechargeable, but once the tanks burn up you would have to buy another kit for more.

The Handle is pretty much just a rectangle ecig. It uses a battery that you take out to recharge. It also has the VV capabilities.

If you are trying to decide between the Handle or Ego...what exactly are you looking for? Just a longer lasting battery?
If you like the normal cylindrical ecig look without the bells and whistles then the Ego may be for you. It has a nice on-off function so that the button doesn't get pressed while you aren't using it. Many people love the mega cartos that fit beautifully on the Ego. It is more of a cigar (thick) shape as opposed to the cigarette shape of the normal V4L stick batts. There isn't an auto version though, only manual.
The Handle however has all the bells and whistles. If you want to make a big jump from the stick batts then this is the one for you. You can turn it on and off. You can change the voltage. But it is also manual.

If you want to hold off there have been hints about a bigger, better auto coming out :D http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ey-v4l-what-about-fat-bat-us-auto-lovers.html But it might be awhile.

As for the tanks, you hit that one on the head. It is a carto in a tank of juice. There are holes in the bottom of the carto that allow the juice to go from the tank to the carto to keep it wet all the time for hours (or days in some cases) of vaping bliss! I personally love the tanks! There are replacement cartos that you will have to purchase as they die just like normal cartos. Some from old age, some get dry and burn, you know how it goes. But you only have to buy the tank (plastic part) once. These are the replacement cartos: Dual coil | Vapor4Life or Single Coil | Vapor4Life all at different ohms. Lol!! That's a whole nother post!

Sorry for the wall of text, that's alot of info!

And of course I missed a few of your questions....

The OMG VV is not compatible with your current gear, but ships with adapters so that you can use your cartos on it. All of the others (I think) are compatible with the V4L cartos.

All of the devices I listed above that come with batteries you remove and charge will not work with your chargers, but ship with chargers to charge the battery.

If you want something to work with your current charger then the Ego and DAV will.

So between the two you are narrowed it down to...the Handle ships with a charger that will charge the battery it comes with. The Ego will work on your current charger assuming you have the slim charger. It is NOT recommended that you use the old style charger with the Ego. Slim charger: The newest and best Vapor King Wall Charger | Vapor4Life

If you are looking for a good, consistent hit I would recommend the Handle. Upping the voltage will give you amazing vapor and hit!

Thank you Harmony very much! that1spazticchik I agree with Harmony. She pretty much covered what I would've so I won't rehash anything.

My suggestion (if you haven't ordered), try the new V4L Dial-A-Volt battery. It works with the Slim Chargers and is a great way to introduce you to variable voltage while not complicating things. It's a great VV device too as it only goes up to 4.8V so you won't have to worry too much about ohms, resistance, blah blah ;). I use one and love it! Let us know what you end up going with :).

*Edit* I just saw that the order was placed :)! Let us know what you think about the eGO!

No problem :) Glad I could help. I hope you love the Ego! Not sure how much experience you have with manuals, but going from all autos to manual is a bit of a change. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

I think you have made a wise purchase; I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my eGO's with a freshly filled megacart. Can't go wrong, IMHO!

Ok everyone, so the postman just brought me my new ego and wow....I love it! It's a little odd having to press a button to get my vape on, haha...but so far so good! I was surprised by the size of it, but it's not a big deal...these mega carts are awesome! Thanks again for all the advice, everyone...vaping is no longer making me want to tear my hair out!
