So, my idea is to build cheap RTAs for under $20 using mostly Vision tank parts.

From left to right, here is the Vision Stone V3 top cap, V3 tube and V3 base.

And all the garbage thats inside.

Tear the CE2 ceramic cup and coil off the top and you are left with the positive post....

Which screws into the base....

And into the tube....

The atomizer top would simply be like this with with the clear V3 or a metal ViviNova tube

This is where I need the modding forum help.

PROBLEM #1 - COUPLING THE 2x tanks

To join the two tanks in the middle, I think the easiest solution would be a male coupling to function like this style but in stainless steel.

The problem would be getting the correct thread size and length to suit the Vision tubes.
Then press fit a disc of teflon/polycarbonate/perspex in the middle with 4 holes for the positive post, negative post, wick hole and filling hole.

Any leads on how/why/what/where to look or alternatives that would work?

PROBLEM #2 - POSITIVE POST EXTENSION

What would be the best way to do this?
A stainless tube press fit over the Vision positive post?

PROBLEM #2 - NEGATIVE TERMINAL

My initial thoughts here as shown in the diagram above is to drill a hole through the base and run a stainless machine screw through the juice tank and the coupling into the atomizer tank with a nut on the end to secure the coil.

Artists impression of "<---cop-atty" using two metal tubes....... :p

As you can see, I need some help with some details..... :glare:

I hate to tell you but a vivi nova would be a better starting point. You could use the nova and a 510 extender to bring the positive and negative terminals to the center cap without modification. Then to set them up like in you picture drill a hole in the cap for the negative screw. For the positive create a pin to replace the one in the extender thick enough to drill and thread. Cut through the threaded area so you can place your wire into the notch and then screw it down tight. Its possible that the positive terminal in your pictures above would even work. cut it to length and just turn it upside down and slide it into the extender

Had another idea if you did use a vivi nova and extender to do this you could use your stone bottom cap as the center piece just use the 510 threads to screw it down and a gasket to seal. Then it would have the top threading for the top half. Unless your really lucky you would have to make your own extender to get the length right.

Edit: I made a simple image. I haven't used any drawing tools in a while so its pretty basic, but hopefully it will show what I'm saying.
