Newbie here! I bought a DIY Premium kit. The flavors I selected were Vanilla custard, Butter, Peanut butter, French vanilla, Banana, Banana cream, Nut, Holy vanilla, Carmel, and Honey. I also have menthol, sweetener, and EM. I've been searching the forum and there seems to be some great recipes. I'm going to order from Capella's as soon as I get some extra cash. For now I want to experiment with what I have. recipes with these flavors would be appreciated . BTW I have 3 mixe's steeping now, cant wait to try them out. Thanks for the help.

either way when I look at this I focus on the custard. I love me some custard. any of those would go well with it. figure out a good place to start with the custard. then start adding small amounts of other things. maybe cutting back on the custard. each time. say just for example you try it and like it at 10 percent. you have your base flavor. now maybe take 4 percent of that and make 6% custard and 4% banana or carmel. then since that sounds good maybe after you try it you decide you want more banana less custard and the carmel. maybe change the custard to 4 % keep the banana at 4% and do 2 percent carmel. ... but peanut butter banana would be good to. throw some vanilla in there .

Sounds good... I started out with 10-15% or less for total flavoring. If I want to add flavor or EM to a mix do I have to wait a week to steep again?

We buy mostly from DIY. If the bottle says 15%, that is what I start with. Most I start at 10% I usually make a 5ml or 10ml batch of a single flavor to test. Later I will mix with the batches. If we like it, I will try mixing those percentages in one bottle.

DIY has a few RTV flavors that I can't match and we buy those too. Don't know where they get the flavoring from. Good service and always some freebies in the box.

it would need some time. not as long tho. maybe just heat it a little and it would be ok pretty fast. are you trying to sweeten it ?Id use a pinch of that honey in it. Ive got mixed feeling about EM. when I first started DIY EM was like franks red hot I put it on everything lol. I cant really even think of a recipe I use it in but one and its more to blend a mellow a few flavors. and actually if I adjust the flavors I could probably just not even use it but I do anyways cuz thats how i like it lol.anyways Ive got a couple reasons i dont use it anymore. 1 it never enhanced my juice. EM rounds off sharp or high notes while mending others. this is where you cant quote me because I cant remember where I read it so my facts may be a bit off but EM is not a flavor. its an additive. a molecule or chemical or something that makes some type of chemical reaction in your body where you taste things differently so it really doesnt do much but change the way you taste things. Ive never really paid attention or tried it in a scientific way but alot of people report that change in flavor carries on to other things also like food and drinks from what Ive read. Ive been trying to cut out additives and sweeteners and "custard notes" shaky success on the custard. just to darn good ha. once you get your percentages right or get the right flavor you will find out most if not all mixes dont really need that stuff and usually sweet enough on their own. finding the flavors and the percentages is sometimes frustrating to say the least lol. as for sweeteners I never liked it. just didnt really do much but kill the juice for me.

and I might be thinking about vape wizard on the part about changing how you taste things. just seen it somewhere else but pretty sure EM does about the same thing and positve about everything else. but really just try it you may love it. Ive actually gone up to 20 percent trying to get cotton candy. dont really like it over a couple percent max . start low with it. there are some good stickies in the DIY section also danny and hoosiers blogs are awesome for people new to DIY. I still read them all the time. so much info out there its hard to absorb it all even after reading it all over and over the past 6 months or whatever lol

With the flavors you have, and a "simple" recipe ... you could always try:

10% Holy Vanilla
8% Vanilla Custard
and some EM or Sweetener (maybe 1-2%)

Adjust the percentages (or add some Caramel or ...?) if you'd like. Just play around with it.
... If you had some of Dawn's Sugar Cream, that would be good added to it.

Also:
Caramel and Peanut Butter are always great mixed together.

GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN. :)
