I sit here totally broke and realize i'll be eating Ramen Noodles for the next few weeks, but on the positive side my near vagrant status is because I'm anxiously awaiting the slow boats from China that inch ever closer to delivering my Itaste VTR and God 180-S units.

After 7 straight months of absolute zero analogs, I did discover the hazards of those achy breaky winder battery (2200 mAh size) dials as well as the ever changing operational results of the basic 'pull apart' 1.8 to 2.5 coils ... ( the ones that are used in the most basic low end clearos and look like 22 bullets carrying a tuner dial stem with no dial attached )

The VTR box comes with it's own I-30s clearo with long hidden wicks and makes it clear what should be used unless you switch to the adapter tube for 5ml jumbo stuff ... It's the 180-S I'd appreciate advice about from some current user ... No use experimenting to find a good all purpose clearo when I'm sure folks in here have already been down this road ... Since the God is so adaptable powerwise, can anyone suggest a good high end clearo that would more than meet any watt or voltage changes that I'll more than likely want to experiment with ? Not being used to something that will put out power of this level, the nautilus line comes to mind but I'm betting some in here havre found the best and most versatile match up for this 220 capable 180-S heavyweight ... thanks !

"High end clearo" is somewhat of an oxymoron. If you mean the recent spate of sub-ohm tanks... I know nothing about them; after learning to build coils, I can't bear the thought of re-entering the replacement coil shuffle.

If you want a really good tank, get a Kayfun Lite Plus clone; you won't regret it. However the Kayfun won't fit in the VTR's "well"; you'd need to use the adapter. It would do well on the God thing, though it's really not a cloud-chasing vape; it doesn't offer sufficient airflow for true cloud chasing, but it does offer quite satisfactory airflow control for those who just want great flavor and throat hit.

I think you might want to look at the subtank plus or subtank mini.

For a real tight belted budget, you can get an rda. and a cheap needle bottle.

Thank you Andria ... since I lost all sense of taste about 15 years ago, I guess I am more interested in the tactile 'feel' of pumping out unflavored PG .. lol !

You might be surprised, how much taste returns after being off the nails long enough. I quit snacking so much just waiting for a commercial so I could go smoke... but now everything tastes so amazing, it's gotten harder than ever before to keep myself from yummy stuff. :D

I don't think I'll be getting taste back anytime soon as it was from a virus and they told me the little 'hairs' or whatever transmits signal to the brain were damaged ... (cilia ? ... something in our upper nose)

Hmm... I suppose it's possible they're permanently dead, from a virus. I do know that they grow back, after about 90-ish days without smoking. Not sure that would be true, with a virus thrown into the mix, since virii alter DNA.

do want a rebulidble or just throw coils in it ?
I wanted to just finally have the versatility of 2 units that seem to me will cover the gamut of future interests if I want to go into rebuilds but for now I think I just want to throw coils in ... I have a Gimlet Giant 5 ml from Smok with it's own weird barrell like replacements and they do offer an ohm spread ... Andria is right however and 'high end clearo' was an oxymoron of a comment ... it's just amazing that the 180S videos I managed to find do not just incidentally mention what clearos the Pro liked or found 'best' ... but upon reflection , when one just adds whatever one wants then 'best' is just another oxymoron, lol!

the subtank gives you the option to throw on replacement coils, or put on a rebuildable RBA coil head, plus people have been rebuilding the 'replacement' coils.

the joyetech deltaII is supposed to be similar.

I have a heavytaste mod tank that has that option too; it's probably a better design than the subtank, but I can't get extra rba heads for it, so i'm ordering subtank myself.

Yah edyle ... I'm just a 7 month newbie but did start 'rebuilding' the replacements because I noticed that since I use zero flavor ...nothing but straight VG with nicotine the coils seem to always remain clear and see through like those transparent chinese noodles ..lol ..they pull out pretty easily and I just play with using cotton wicks with more girth to them and to make the wick really tight within the coil tunnel ..

experiment with that cotton thing; loose fuzzy cotton can wick faster.
but I'm worried about something you said about taste; if your tastebuds are too damaged, I'm worried about dry hits.
With vaping on cotton, it's important that you tastebuds can detect dry hits otherwise you basically fry your throat I guess;
There is also silica wick you can use instead of cotton.

It's kind of you to have that concern but trust me, losing the sense of taste is basically incorrect terminology ... it's really losing the sense of smell as everything that makes one flavor discernable from another is really aroma to our brain as we eat ... put on a 3m painters rebreather and that absolute isolation from smell is what I experience ... but dry hits , vapor stings like from vinegar, ammonia, battery acid, ... those I readily 'feel' rather than smell ... and dry hits are no stranger to me ! ... My tastebuds are intact so sweet, bitter, sour, spicy, and what the Chinese refer to as 'Umami' are readily tasted by me .... I just can't tell what sweet thing it is, or sour, etc ...
