Help me out with choice

The Janty Stick is primarily plastic. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but depending on how hard you are on devices could merit some thought. Also the least expensive JS is over $90 shipped. You can buy two 510s for that if you look hard enough.

Battery life is a non-issue if you simply buy an extra battery or a charging case. What you want is a performer that works everytime. Consistantly giving great vapor and throat hit. Something you can control. Pretty much what every vaper wants. The 510 passes muster. Everyone raves about it for a reason. For the price, right out of the box, it's the best PV out right now.

Anyone considering a new PV should watch Terraphon's excellent review of e-SmokeyTreats' 510.

Battery life was listed as the top criteria. I've ran more than two batteries dead in the time it took the PCC to charge one.

I think the 510 is a good mini but to say it is the best PV out right now is a stretch especially if battery life is your #1 criteria. Anyone who was a 1 pack a day + smoker would have an impossible time of vapeing with one 510. I had to buy two starter kits, some extra batteries & carry chargers with me to and from work so I could always have a battery or two at the ready. It was that battery managment fiasco that led me to purchase a screwdriver and I was finally content. I don't think the screwdriver or anyother device is right for everyone. I think when determining a PV you have to acess need and preferences and go with the PV that best meets that criteria. If battery life is important than any mini that is not attached to a big battery is looses out.

Had the criteria been "I need a PV that is close to the size of a cigarette with a manual switch that produces good vapor", the 510 would win.

Just my opinion.

Smokin in the girls room.I got suspended for that once. It was my girlfriends idea! Honest. I'd have to say go for the manual switch 510.
If finances allow go for the PCC charger case so you always have a fresh
battery. Good luck.

I would like to order a new e-cig. Since April I have been using a pen-style and it works fine but I would like to try something new....any suggestions? I would like something that has long battery life and good vape. I don't know all the numbers you guys use so please be clear about the name of the cig. Thanks

The 901 is my favorite, but the 510 is a close second. I love the manual battery. I have been reading that a 901 manual is on the way very soon. I would have to recommend the 901 to anyone who wants a great e-cig. I get tons of vapor out of mine, but not quite as strong a throat hit as the 801(it can make me cough at times).
