So i was using reos with rm2's only, for two solid years, never wanting to try anything else. My little brother then bought one. Got the guy down the street to get one too. I have 3. All of them have the old contacts and none of them are LP.

I was gifted a nemesis clone and authentic Veritas two months ago and build my coils the same as on my rm2's. The draw is amazing as well as the flavor. Far better hitting than my reo's, but im wondering if thats just because I now feel like im sucking through a tiny straw on my reos. The draw is sooo tight. I want to use them, but they have sat in a box under my bed.

What should I do. Im sorry for the treason

Get a drill bit and enlarge the hole to 1/16 by hand, its soft brass and easy to do.

Step up to 5/64 or 3/32 if needed....send the 3 grands to Rob to be milled down and for the new contacts to be installed and you'll be very happy.

The Reo is a great platform providing a battery and bottom feeding liquid. The vape is all up to the rba and the build put in it.

1. Get the new contact kit installed. It has a lower voltage drop so you'll more kick out of a given build and it has lower maintenance requirements.

2. Open up the RM2 air hole and also start looking at all the BF RBA choices available that were not around at the beginning of the year.

3. Look into to giving your REOs a hair cut or buying an LP version. This is the shortened drip well so you can run any size RBA on it.

For the new contacts and the hair cut, you can do them or send to Rob and have him do both at the same time.

Drilling out the airhole on that RM2 is a good start. It sounds like airflow is the main different on the Veritas for you since you're using the same coil.

I would also send one or more of those Reo's in and have Rob convert them to LP. That opens up your atomizer choices a lot. Then I would get a nice dual coil atomizer with bigger/adjustable airflow and a smallish chamber (I love my Lokilab Odin fpr this, but there are lots of choices). Then you'll really be in that sweet lung hit open draw zone.

I wonder if anyone has ever tried converting a Veritas to bottom feed? It looks like a great atomizer for flavor and I keep hearing that it doesn't leak.

I didn't see this mentioned yet, so I'll bring it up as a reminder for the old contacts I presume you have (they were silver in color): You do need to periodically file the firing pin and apply noalox. I imagine that would revive the REO quite a bit if that part of maintenance were left out.

To add to this train of thought, when you get new contacts the rules change. Do Not file the new gold contacts.

I do clean up my contacts and apply fresh noalox from time to time so i know thats not the issue...

Im just gonna open up the rm2's hole for now. Then send a few reos to rob when i get the $ for him to LP them and install new contacts. He has always been great with customer service! I love reoville too baby!

Are you lung inhaling now with the new RDA's? If so there are several bottom feeding rda's with AFC that are really good. Get one of your Grands milled down to the LP size and give it a try. Nothing better than the Reo when on the go; in the car or at work or wherever. When I'm in my lazy boy I can drip on something else.

SO today I opened up the air hole as suggested on the RM2, just a tiny bit....BAM! STILL GREAT FLAVOR WITH IMPROVED AIRFLOW!
