Looking for an authentic SS 18650, preferably single tube. I've been looking at the vanilla for like two months but open to suggestions. Looking for a hard hitter with a sweet firing button. Help me spend my money!

The best way to do it is to search for your mech criteria and see what catches your fancy, then see if it's available. The good ones are often hard to score and often need to be in a pre-order option.
When I bought the Stingray, my criteria was floating/adjustable center pin, silver plated contacts, and magnetic switch as would like but not a deal breaker. I prefer single tube configurations also, but there are always exceptions. Whatever you choose, it will probably just the beginning of .....en mech mod acquisitions. lmao

Infinite Stingray really does it for me. hcigar supposedly makes a good clone too. Being a brass tube, it has alot less voltage drop than a steel mech like a magneto. Only problem is the tarnishing, definitely have to get some brass polish to keep it looking pretty
Umm, the OP was looking for Authentic recommendations not clones. It's a stage many vapers get to where they need their Authentic mod.
The Castle from VapeSmith is pretty good if you can get your hands on it.

I agree, it's pretty solid but I already own one and after selling my provari and I'm looking for another authentic. I'm feeling the silverback and munstro set as well. I'll make a purchase by this weekend and post the set up as well.
Missed that. That said, clones do the trick for me just fine when it comes to mechanicals

Went with the overdose by MCV. I absolutely love the look and feel and performance has been stellar. I do feel like i may have some threading issues, but we'll see if they work themselves out. No one else at the shop is having an issue so i think it may just be my luck.
I've had the black Stingray clone, and I now have the Stingray in brass. Love it. But if you want a sick firing button, check out the Penny mod. The button is a real penny! I heard that they're gonna stop making them with the pennies in them soon though.
