HELP! MVP2 died...No screen, no firing

Got a month old MVP2 that just quit on me. Just out of the blue the screen quit working and it doesn't fire at all. If I plug it in the charger the light comes on like it's charging but still doesn't fire.

Any suggestions? Can I open this thing up and fix it at all? Or is it totally dead?

There have been recent some questions raised here about the construction of these things, including wires being held in place with tape rather than with proper solder connections.

So, I have gotten into the habit of never turning this thing off.

I was using it when this happened, I'm positive I didn't quickly hit the button 3 times between vapes! And it just quit working!

Low and behold, I hit the button 3 times and it works now

Don't worry about it. I'm kinda in the IT world. I found it often saves a lot of time and headaches to ask the following two questions first, before anything else. "Is it turned on?" and "Is it plugged in?". It happens a lot, and it happens to people of all intelligence levels it seems.

Don't worry about it. I'm kinda in the IT world. I found it often saves a lot of time and headaches to ask the following two questions first, before anything else. "Is it turned on?" and "Is it plugged in?". It happens a lot, and it happens to people of all intelligence levels it seems.

My Aunt worked in customer service for RCA (I think) in the early days of television.

When a customer called in with "No Sound, No Picture" she told them "Unplug it, flip the plug over, and plug it in the other way". (This was before polarized power-plugs).

About half of the people came back and said "Thanks, that fixed it!"

The other half admitted that the TV wasn't plugged in.
