Rash sounds a lot like an allergy.. what you may like to do is go to an unflavored 100% VG juice like

Nada - $9.00 : Heather’s Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids

See if your symptoms subside... if they do, then you know it's an allergic reaction to either PG or a flavoring.

At that point, you will want to do an allergy test with PG - that is the most common allergy.

If your not allergic to that, you will have to do some experimentation to see what flavors bothers you, and what ones dont. there are a few people that can vape menthol but nothing else.. and others that only have one or two flavors they are allergic to.

It's going to take a little time.. but now is where you have to figure out what the exact culprit is and avoid it.

Welcome to the forums!

On second thought - what you may prefer to do since this sound ms more severe, is get the nada and do an allergy test with that, as well as with your current ejuice..

That way you can more quickly learn whether or not the nada is okay for you...

Then you can go through the process with PG and some flavors. .

Thanks, Opinionated,I was on a pg 55 vg 45 just got some pg20 vg 80, so if that works, then great

No.. go to 100% vg.. no PG whatsoever. that really is the most common allergy associated with vaping and so long as you have some PG, even in a smaller amount, you cannot determine if missing it has an effect.

PG gets an undeserved bad rap.
Hard to understand why folks recommend high VG as a way to self diagnose a sensitivity or allergic reaction, especially with someone new to vaping, considering it may not have anything to do with vaping.
If I were to take 10 -12 vapes of 100% VG I couldn't talk on my phone to get medical help or drive myself to the hospital.
Unflavored is a good way to eliminate the possibility of flavorings & sweeteners reactions.

Everyone might react differently.
Burning or hot feeling rash small bumps usually starting on face, lips most often flavorings.
Redness of face, slight swelling of eyes & lips, bumps in mouth / lips most often sweeteners, when combined with reactionary flavorings can also cause hot or burning rash.
Itchy rash / bumps on neck, back of ears spreading to shoulders, chest & back & sometimes nose area most likely Pg.
Tight or heavy chest feeling, bigger bumps neck, back of head / hair line, behind ears, wheezing, feeling of head or chest congestion, difficulty breathing to difficult to even take a breath, VG.

Doctors diagnose allergies not interweb forums, some sensitivities & allergies can become serious quickly.

Seriously my guess is too much PG in your juice.
I itch like an itchy thing if I go over 30% PG.

Doctors diagnose allergies by doing allergy tests. They need the product your wanting to know if your allergic to in order to test you for allergies against it.

Common sense. I often treat people like they have some. My mistake.

I smoked for approx 40 years. When I quit I gained some weight but thankfully none of the other symptoms. I did not have it medically diagnosed but am nearly positive that I have a sensitivity to PG and also to certain ingredients - mainly the ones found in vanilla. My symptom is my throat closes and I now vape either all VG or max VG. It is trial and error but your symptoms sound like it might be a good idea to see a physician.

I am able to use PG in small doses and most of the flavorings have PG in them.

Maybe you had some ejuice on your hands and touched your face because the nicotine is easily absorbed through the skin.

What type/flavor of ejuice were your using and is it better with the new stuff you started using?

I would consider seeing an allergist. In the UK, you may not be able to get max VG as flavorings have PG, but you could get close (or just buy some Pharma grade VG from a chemist or pharmacist, then add VG base nic).

I would probably see a doctor though, itching and bumps aren't good re: allergies as sometimes an allergic reaction can swell dangerously out of control. I have PG "sensitivity" which means that I can't use it, but my symptoms were throat and lung irritation, I wound up getting a "last" pneumonia AFTER I started vaping, but my vaping doc helped me figure it out. Anything more than about 6% PG I really can't vape. I never got a rash or itchy feeling though. And I'd hate to point you in the max VG direction and have you be allergic to VG, and rushed to the nearest hospital for help. If you can get allergy testing done that may help you rule out flavors as well. Probably, (possibly) the allergist may put you on an "allergy elimination" vape diet, but I would really be more comfortable if you did that with a professional, and perhaps with an epi-pen on hand in case you run into troubles (you can get an epi pen prescribed by most allergists) and then you may have to go down the "isolating your vape ingredients" road. Some flavors don't agree with me either. However, I'd say the matter is probably best handled (however you wind up handling it) under the supervision of an allergist.

My kid had allergies and asthma, I got to learn ALL about allergy elimination testing and allergy shots, The good news is after 5 years of allergy shots, the kid no longer had them. Since vaping is so much more of "harm reduction" than tobacco, I'd really say it's worth your time to figure this out, and the good news is, you probably can find a stable vape for yourself, I was able to despite my sensitivity to large quantities of PG. Everyone's just a bit different....

Best of luck, and I hope you can get it sorted out!
