we cannot get the top cap off with out pliers ! and that will KILL the look !we dont do that normally . they tend to stick after juice gets in them and the Old Infinity has no hole in it for a tool to get it loose ! sorry man !
Mike have you tried adding a little heat to it or you could drill a hole in it. Last but not least you could grind two notches on the sides to put a wrench on. That wouldn't look too bad.
I know I'm new at ECF, but when my equipment stuck, and I needed to use pliers, I knew it would gouge marks in the finish, so I took a towel and folded it over once or twice to make it thick. Then I grabbed the PV with the pliers and the thick towel was in between. I had to squeeze the pliers harder than I wanted to, but I got the grip I needed to unscrew it, and the finish was totally fine. I hope you guys find a way to fix it with minimal scratching.
I drilled a hole in the side of the top cap to get it off , got it off , replaced the switch and it works , NO led however , we cannot fix that sorry !!!!
