Okay. I hope that catches some attention.

My older sister, she's recently in her 40s, has been vaping now for a while. I'm not exactly sure how long, but I'd say at least a year. The shops in her town have all closed, she lives over 12 hours away from me, and her device is dying. She's frantic, messaging me for help.

Right now, she uses a innokin 1.8 "O VV" battery. She uses a kanger tank that uses duel coils at 1.5 ohms. She claims she vapes at 5.0-5.2 volts.
The way the tank is shaped, it doesn't appear to be an ego style. And she claims she has another, larger tank that I haven't seen that uses the same coils. I'm not exactly sure what mod that is. The devices similar to it I find, max out at 5 volts. And she says up to 5.2v.

I'd assume any modern day device could fire a 1.5ohm coil on a tank with a standard 510 connection....but...

I need to get her something that will work with these tank, not be too large, and have a rechargeable internal batter.

I'd like it to be something that could potentially handle a sub ohm tank with replaceable coils later on.

I'm at a loss. Everything I know are big box mods, or aren't sold anymore like I can't find them. Or it's an ego? And I'm still not sure those will go more than 5v.

Needs to be in stock now so she knows it's coming.

Help...

I would just go to the Provape site and click on the specials page. Get her one of the $20 V2.5 or the 2.5 mini. You will need batteries and a charger......

Looks like her tank in the picture is a pro tank mini2 and is ego threaded. You might need to get her a 510 to ego adaptor.

The aio kit is a possibility or the t18 starter kit. The aio has subbohm coils and an integrated tank. The t18 is more similar to the current set up. Or the new mi-one kit looks super cool. These kits can all be had for $30 or less.

None of these need batteries. Pico kit is also nice but then you need batteries and charger. Can't really think of others that tick your boxes as it is not how I vape. Easy now and a new mod later for subohm

Well off the top of my head if you can find them would be:
Eleaf 30
Innokin Coolfire 40w
Both came with ego adaptors ( if she likes the protank)
Not as small as the VV but small none the less, built in battery, and pretty colors.
Plus a little room to grow with the addition of 15 watts over what she was using.

I remember those. Even have a few still stashed somewhere in my vape room.
@OP
I am willing to donate the ones I have. Let me know via pm.

:)

eta. I have them charging now and they all vape fine.

That looks like the Kanger Pro Tank or clone. Most of them have ego threads instead a 510. A few has a 510 but not many.

Suggest an istick Pico. You can get tge mod alone for $29 on eBay. She could save money by getting it at Fasttech or other places but her mod is dying and needs it quickly.

If her Atty has a 510 she's ready to rock and roll

If it is an ego thread Atty she will need an adapter. Since she is MTL vaping a Nautilus Mini woukd be a big step up in flavor she would have to prime the coil head with Juice.

mod is an ITaste VV, tank is a protank 3 mini ( kanger)...
these items are at least 3 yrs old... Im amazed the mod is still working... :)

definately a tootle puffers setup ;)

the protank 3 mini has 510 threads... there is an adapter to go from 510 to ego ( the small barrel shaped item just under the atty in the picture, the one with the hole in it)... remove the adapter and its good to go on a 510 threaded mod...

most mods capable of subohm are going to use 18650 batteries... it may be a challenge to find anything in the size she has now..
maybe something is available on Fasttech...

If it uses dual coils the atty must be a KangerTech Protank 3 mini but the drip tip she's using appears to be from a Protank-II mini (both use 510 drip tips). The Protank 3 is Ego threaded for use on Ego style batteries like the Innokin pictured. Innokin Ego style batteries are still locally available but crazy expensive Innokin iTaste VV V3.0 Battery There are less expensive EGO styled batteries that are, in my opinion, as good or better than the Innokin like this one; $9.73 Authentic Vision Spinner 3S 1600mAh VV Battery - 3.6-4.8V / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping She could use her current atty on a regulated mod that uses replaceable/swappable batteries (like an Eleaf iStick Pico) but she'd need an Ego to 510 adapter like this; $1.32 510 to eGo/510 Converter Adapter - chromed brass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

These Ego style batteries aren't suitable for sub-ohm tanks, for that you really should consider getting a regulated mod like the Pico.
