I got an RX200 with a TFV4 and a TFV8. I have a smaller Ileaf istick 20w with an aspire mini tank. I'm looking for something that is a MTL setup. All I do is cough with the Rx200 setup. I'm not a cloud chaser and do not like DTL technique.

Looking for something that is black. I thought about keeping the Rx200 but I can't find a suitable MTL setup as far as a tank that looks cool for the RX200 and is black.

Thanks

I 2nd the Triton Mini and Cubis (std or pro). Triton Mini can use the Nautilus coils as well. On the Cubis the .6 and 1.5 coils my favorite MTL coils. That RX200 would last for a few days between charges at 15 watts. If you want to get into rebuilding the Augvape Merlin is outstanding and versatile. another good one is a Kayfun Mini V3 or V5.

You can't blame the RX200 for your dissatisfaction. Blame the juice delivery device (tank or atomizer). The RX200 is simply the power plant. Your blame must be on the TFV4 and a TFV8. You simply chose the wrong tanks for your vaping application.

I like both a MTL and DTL draw, depending upon my mood. I like the Uwell Crown 1 on my RX200. It has a ratcheted air control ring to adjust for either a MTL or a DTL draw. The Uwell Crown offers the ability to use Dual Coil 0.25 ohm, Dual Coil 0.5 ohm, Ni200 (Nickel) 0.15 ohm, and Single Coil 1.2 ohm atomizer heads. Top or bottom fill. 4 ml capacity.

I agree with what badditude said... It's all based on the atomizer. The RX200 is still a good mod, and is just as good at lower wattage than higher wattage. Currently, I have a 1.0 ohm setup on my RX200, and it vapes just fine.

Now, as far as the coughing, When you do go higher wattage and ohms, people usually lower the nicotine content, and may even switch to a higher VG content as well. 3mg/ml or 6mg/ml is what I'd recommend for 50+ watts. For mouth to lung inhales, I'd recommend the Uwell crown like what badditude suggested, or an Aspire Nautilus tank. Just keep the wattage low.

You've gotten a good mod and good tanks and I doubt they are to blame for your coughing. Coughing can be caused by a lot of things and you can vape any device DTL or MTL as you wish. For coughing I would suggest you check the following;
- PG content of your juice, PG always makes me cough so I like max VG juices only
- nicotine content of your juice, nic is harsh and gives a throat/lung hit, too much at once of high nic content makes me cough
- power to your coil, too low and it is a wet gurgly vape with too thick a cloud and too strong a taste, too high and the vape gets dry, heated, and harsh
- flavor of your juice - things like citrus flavors can be very perfumy and harsh
- your coil or build, some builds/coils produce a harsher vape than others

You likely did not waste your money. I've found that when some device just isn't performing well for me I set it aside and come back to it later. Usually a few more tweeks and it performs much better. Don't expect you'll get it right the first time, trial, error, and experimentation is the name of this game, that and relying on help from others. Good luck with it, I'm sure you will win in the end.

I have that tank on my Eleaf Istick. Works great. But my Rx200 is black and being that tank is silver and so small, it just looks odd.

Cool. I hope this thing works out for me. Where is that place located?

You haven't wasted money on a Reuleaux, let me reassure you. :thumb:

Some way down the line, when/if you get into RDAs and want a powerful vape with great flavor, then it will become your best friend. I use tiny RDAs on 2 battery mods and it might look a bit strange but not having the charge the batteries/unit every few days is... well... it's amazing!

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I picked up the Crown II for $15.00 a few weeks ago on sale , i actually like the Subtank mini's a lot more for low wattage vaping.

I love the Crown II's RBA which is the Rafale RBA actually but it's amazing.

Next time order a Top tank Mini with the 1.2 rated OHM coils , the RBA comes with that model.

Trying to figure out this tank. You can use rebuildable coils, does it come with a RBA coil or is that a separate purchase?
You figured it out. You can use factory-made replacement coils. With the accessory (separate purchase) RBA base, you can make your own coils.

It seems a lot of people like the original Crown tank over the Crown 2, mainly because of the coils used.

Yeah I'm praying this thing works out well for MTL. Herb's comment has me worried. Hehe. I was just watching that video.
I can't MTL on it, but I'm not normal.
Strictly open at 30-35 watts baby.
For a mouth-to-lung, you have to adjust the air ring to ALMOST closed.

If you say it works, I'll go with that. :)
I've tried it with many sub tanks but just can't get the feel for it. As I said, I think maybe in this respect I'm not normal. Regardless, it's a tank for everybody's collection. :)
