I am horrible at math - and thus have no idea what I am vaping -

I can't figure out a speadsheet for the life of me and helpful posters have pointed me to:
eJuice Recipe Calculator

But that does not help me much, because what I need is that calculator in reverce - where I can put in the ingredients I have mixed in an ejuice and it will tell me the mg/ml of what I ended up with.

For I will start a recipe, and look had the calculator and figure I will need say 20% flavoring - and start with that and measure my nic juice and vg and flavorings to get there - and then I will taste what I come up with and figure it needs some sweetness, and add that - and think it would be a lot better if I added some vanalla custard, then a little bit of cinnamon red hots - then taste it and realize I had added too much flavorings and add a half ml more vg and a half ml more 48 nic. Then decide that maybe I it would be good with a little peach - etc, etc.

I keep track of how much I added of what as I go along (so I can recreate) - but by the the time I am through - I have no idea of how back to how strong the mixture is.

What I need is a the calculation that tells me the reverse of that calculator - ie:

5ml 48mg nic juice + 5.5 ml vg + 3.8 ml combined flavorings = X mg/ml e-juice

How do I get the value of X?

48mg/ml * 5ml = 240mg
240mg / (5ml + 5.5ml + 3.8ml) = 240mg / 14.3ml = 16.8mg/ml

Basically you find the total mg of nicotine then divide by the total ml.

Just use section 4 of my calculator on the VG calculator page, just put 0 in the mg column for those liquids that do not have nic in them. The download link is in my signature below.
BTW it would be 14.30ml of 16.78mg juice.
Hope this helps,
Dan

Thank you. I had tried to look at your spreadsheet before - but the micro level security in my excel would not let me and I gave up (this time I set micro level security to low). I would have never been able to realize that that section could be used for what I wanted if you hadn't pointed it out to me, though. But, now I realize it is partially helpful, for not only can only can I use it to solve the question I asked you about - but for it's intended purpose, for sometimes I will add some ejuice I bought from a supplier to my own concoctions and this will allow me to calculate the strength of the total. Thank you so much - this is really great.

48mg/ml * 5ml = 240mg
240mg / (5ml + 5.5ml + 3.8ml) = 240mg / 14.3ml = 16.8mg/ml

Basically you find the total mg of nicotine then divide by the total ml.

Thank you also - if I don't have the spreadsheet - I can now figure mg/ml out now that you have given me the formula - for actually I do OK in math if someone gives me a formula - but it was always word problems that messed me up. It seems like translating words into mathematical constructs requires a certain neurological connection I was born without. But now that you did the translation for me, it makes perfect sense - Thank you.
