Help - need an answer fast re: Isopropyl for my ProVari and flying

I'm flying out tomorrow to Africa & was planning on bringing a little Isopropyl Alcohol (99%) with me to clean my ProVaris - I'll be gone a month, so cleaning is essential. But I just noticed the WARNING label says "flammable liquid". I'm sure I could get thru TSA by lying about what it is, but I really don't want to - if this stuff is really flammable, would pose a hazard to everyone.

Is there anything else I can take with me to do my regular weekly cleanings?

Honestly don't know of a good alternate, but it'll survive a month without an iso cleaning - just wipe out the battery connector area frequently. Also, you may well be able to get some iso alcohol THERE, at a pharmacy or something...

I travel for dive trips and always bring 91% isopro for my ears. I simply put it into 1oz dropper bottles unlabeled and place it with my carry on liquids. International flights, and never had a problem. Securely bottled and bagged, there shouldn't be any risk at all. Good luck, and safe travels

Thanks much to both of you for the quick response. Just cleaned out an old Halo bottle and will put some 70% Iso in there - better than not having any at all. Not sure what I can buy in Africa, will be in small towns. Appreciate your input ...
