My new coils came today and I've tried three of them but none are giving me the proper crackle. I checked the codes and they are genuine so I'm now wondering if it's my nautilus that's at fault? I get a very slight crackle but if feels like when a coil is coming to its end and it's not satisfying. The difference when I then vape using my GS air tells me it's not right. Has anyone any idea what could be wrong?

I got a Joytech eGo One last Friday. I felt like I already outgrew it by the end of the weekend and there were a few things I really didn't like about it. Mainly the size of the tank and it is a PITA to fill.
my wife uses a kanger sub mini on her ego one and it seems to work like a champ - sometimes uses the stock tank to check a new flavor, but that's about it...

Can anyone tell me about the crackle on the nautilus mini? I've got two now and both crackle really well if I put them to my ear but neither crackle in the same way when I take a draw!? I took them up to the local shop to ask about this but all she did was put them to her ear and said they're fine. But why don't they give me that satisfying crackle when I vape? Please don't tell me to change the coils as I've gone through two boxes already but every one is the same. Also what battery setting should it be on as I had them on 12v but she said that was high?

the crackle is generally an indicator that the coil is working fine and vaporizing the liquid - you wont hear it as much when you are actually vaping, as airflow is picking up the vapor and moving it happily into your mouth/ lungs... not sure about the voltage setting there but 12v seems high to me also - when vaping on my sig 100w+ with a .5ohm coil, I m only pushing 3.5v at 20w...

what nic level liquid are you using and what is the PG/VG ratio on the liquid - these will impact the throat hit... I don't use the nautilus mini tank currently, but what I recall is when using a 70%-80% VG liquid at 12mg nic level on one of the 1.8ohm coils, I generally ran at around 10-11 watts (maybe started off a little lower (9 watts) with a new coil, until it was good and saturated, then cranked it up a bit to the 10-11 watts range) - keep in mind, that 'sweet spot' is different for different folks... but nic level and pg/vg ratio are going to play a big part in getting that 'throat hit'

I use 18mg nicotine, 50/50. I change to a lower nicotine in the evening as I've had problems with insomnia and the strange thing is I have a 6mg banana that I always get a good throat hit on where it's hit and miss with the 18mg! I am struggling to understand about the lack of crackle as it always used to crackle when I vaped and when it stopped I knew the coil need changing. How will I know when to change the coil now?

The amount of vapor will fall off and you won't get much flavor. That's when I change my coil. The vape gets lackluster.

I really need some help in buying the right e cigarette as I'm finding its so overwhelming. I bought my first e cig a week ago on my doctors advise and although I was pleasantly surprised as it was better than I expected I found it hard to get a throat hit from it. That was a Nicolite. 5 days ago I bought a Vype pen and it is definitely better and I've not had a real cigarette since but I still find it difficult to get the throat hit and it also tastes plasticy. After watching YouTube videos I ordered a V2 starter kit which came today but it is a big disappointment. Not much vapour and no throat hit at all which I can't understand as on many sites the V2 is classed as the best! Even the Nicolite is better than the V2!
Please can anyone help me with advice about which e cig would be right for me? I just want one that's simple to use, gives good vapour and throat hit, can be bought in the UK and is reasonably priced.

I'm fairly new to vaping myself but my first starter kit with stick e cigs was EverSmoke. They have reasonably priced kits and you get to choose strength and flavor. Not lots of flavor choices but enough to get you started and won't break the bank. Since purchasing my original kit with EverSmoke I have purchased numerous other stick style with cartomizers. EverSmoke is my favorite for flavor and throat hit for that style of ecig. Good luck to you!

I think I've got it sussed - I was sucking too hard and fast! Once I realised this I've slowed it down n am now getting a better throat hit. Just had my third nautilus mini delivered - got it for £12.90 postage free from Amazon and it is genuine as I checked the code. I also bought a Kanger aerotank but my battery is saying atomiser low when I draw on it. Anyone know what this means?

Sorry, just saw the juice question. I also recommend visiting a local store and trying a variety. My husband I are were both determined to try tobacco flavors only. Our first visit to a vape store, they had us try a range of flavors. I left with a tank of something grapey, and hubby stuck with tobacco. A few miles down the road, and I was stuck with the tobacco! Now he's on a root beer binge and I'm into melon flavors. There are a ton of flavors to try and you might be surprised, like we were, at what hits your taste buds just right!

Kangers have short threads on the base you may not be getting good contact

Eversmoke are in cahoots with Vaporfi. (They might be the same outfit). Be careful with these companies. If you want to go bigger and better, you'll basically be buying Vaporfi.
$39.99 for 15 refills (Eversmoke) isn't great value.
Just a head up on all that. :)
