Sorry I had to post that before I was finished as I'd noticed my smilies don't show so I clicked on the ones on here but it put it before the Hi n even when I deleted it my curser refused to move!
What I was going to ask is do you know of a good UK site for cheap e juice? I've found one site but it asks you to what pg/vg mix you want and I don't have a clue! I did order one but I just guessed at the mix so it would be handy to know which one is best?

I would be more than a little cautious with cheap juice. If a company can't or won't tell you exactly what's in their juice and they can't prove to you they are using the highest quality ingredients, there's a possibility they are sourcing some or all of these ingredients from China. I'm in the US, and I will only buy US-made liquids only from companies that are willing to stand behind them. I'm going into DIY fully very soon, before the worthless government and the FDA screws all of us, where the only vaping you're going to be doing as far as they're concerned is crappy Cigalikes. At that point I won't be buying any premade, and is also why I recommend everybody, and I do mean EVERYBODY who is vaping to quit smoking, needs to be looking into DIY to make your own juices and have some nicotine stored in the freezer, before this worthless government with the FDA firmly in the pockets of big Pharma, big tobacco and the anti-smoking crazies regulates us into nothing but worthless little cigalikes. Believe me they don't care about you or your health in the slightest. It's about the money and only the money.
I only buy the ingredients from top rated US labs and I'll make it myself. Quality of your liquids is the last place to be looking on the cheap IMO.

I just found a site selling e liquid for £1 a bottle, £1.50 postage. Is called Onepoundeliquid. Sounds too good to be true, anyone know?

I don't know anything about the company, how big is the bottle? I would run, not walk from any outfit selling juice that cheap. Will they stand behind it, and send you a full list of ingredients? If not, God knows what's in there. That's the Russian roulette with a fully loaded revolver I wouldn't be willing to play.

I purchased a couple of batteries and tanks for my husband, he just didn't seem to like them, The other day I ordered the green cigarette with menthol and 5 ry4
cartridges and he really liked them.. I feel good as he said now maybe I can quit. He has lung cancer and bladder cancer and we have been told hopefully he will be able to get it under control with chemo and then radiation.. Of course I am very sad and wish I would have found something for him before now. We are hopeful and have faith, but find something you like and please get off the cigarettes.. I am looking for a couple more mods as soon as I can afford them.. Some of my batteries have found the battery heaven..lol
like others have said alot of the throat hit is from nicotine or pg that delivers the flavor.. Looking forward to hearing you have found something you like..

Hi Bootiewootsy, so sorry to hear about your husband, I am rooting for him to make a full recovery.
I've been off the real cigs a week now and have no intention of ever smoking again thanks to e cigs. I am really looking forward to my stuff coming from Amazon, I feel like a kid waiting for Xmas n I just know I'm gonna love what Santa brings.
I'm wondering if too much nicotine can cause insomnia as its 4.35am n it's the third night running I've been unable to sleep? I have been hammering my Vype pen searching for that elusive throat hit n I often catch myself taking draw after draw without realising I'm doing it as I'm concentrating on what I'm doing on my iPad.

I don't mind the £1 e-liquid flavours, but sadly I only enjoy the tobacco ones.
They do have some certification for the ingredients, but I can't remember where I read them. I had quite bad insomnia in the early days, but it eased and got noticeably better as I started to drop down my strength. 24 - 18 - 12 etc. The Vype e-Pen uses quite strong liquid, but vapes at around 1/4 of the vapour I would vape, say, 6mg liquid at. Lots of trial and error in the early days.

Hi Kaydi

I can speak from personal experience that too much nicotine can cause insomnia. When I first started vaping, in order to help prevent any urges, I vaped 24 mg pretty heavy. I had a very tough time sleeping for the first three or four days. Once I dropped down to 18 mg and cut back on the Vaping a bit I was able to sleep again, but even then it was three or four hours A day for a little while. And I'm still having major alarm bells going off on that cheap juice. Did you find out what size the bottles are, and what's the current exchange rate to US dollars for total cost?

Hi Bootiewootsy

Sorry to hear about your husband. This kind of news is the last thing that any of us want to hear. That said, He MUST stop smoking now. He can't be smoking, and should not be vaping anything at the point where he's already been diagnosed with lung cancer. Has he tried snus? I think he's going to have to get massively serious with nicotine patches, snus, nicotine tablets, gum, anything to give him all the nicotine he needs, but he can't put anything into his lungs at this point.
Good luck we're hoping that he beats this.

I did answer as to the bottle size - it's 10ml n it's 1 and 1/2 dollars to the pound (that's what my other half just told me as I'm not up on things like that!). I decided to take a chance and I've ordered 6 bottles, one of which was free. The reviews were so good and it's so cheap it's gotta be worth a shot n even if I don't like it I've not lost a lot. I would now like to order an e juice recommended by someone whose tried the more expensive ones and knows of one that is good so I've got something I can compare with. Anyone got any suggestions?
BTW I had a right game with PayPal when I ordered that cheap liquid - it wouldn't accept my PayPal login even though I knew it was right so I had to click forgotten my password. I entered the verification code sent by email but then for extra security I had to choose one of three options, I tried all three but the animated system wouldn't accept any of them so eventually I was given the option of emailing PayPal for more help. But guess what I had to do beforehand - yeah you guessed it Login to PayPal!!! Bet you can't guess what happened next - my login was accepted! I then went back to Onepoundeliquid and placed my order. What a bloody palaver eh!

Sorry I missed the part about the 10 mg before. I still have major reservations at that kind of price. They have to be doing major corner cutting to make any profit at all. But then again I'm and old and cautious fuddy-duddy.. Heh.;) Let us know how those liquids come out. I really can't recommend any liquids as I understand you're in the UK and I don't know if you would be ordering them from the US. My major recommendation would be for everybody to get started in DIY as that is the only way I feel to have the absolute purity of ingredients and knowing exactly what's in your vapor liquid. Good luck and keep us updated!:)

What do you fancy trying? Fruity (forest fruits), citrus, sweet, tobacco, desserts, bakery?

Red Astaire from T-Juice is madly popular, as is Snake Oil (T-Max). I don't vape either, as I'm not keen on aniseed. Caramel Deluxe from LT e-cigs is amazing (if you like caramel), but takes 2 weeks to steep.
Vape Escape (Grizwald) Citrus Spring is great, and so are many of the others.

Gourmet Recipes : Vape Escape

You can buy samples, and YES! I've tried them all. They are even on special offer.

Grizwald's 5ml Samplers [VE292-L1] - £2.20 : Vape Escape

I just had a quick look at both your links - I think the 5ml samplers are an excellent idea and at Vape Escape I've bookmarked the white chocolate as I love it but can't eat it as it gives me migraines but maybe I could vape it? If so I'll put it on my birthday list as I can't warrant spending £13 on it at the moment. Also I've been advised to stick to tobacco flavours to begin with, I ordered 4 tobacco ones from Onepoundeliquid but then couldn't resist the Apple and the Pineapple. What I like about that site is when you click on a flavour it shows all the reviews of people who've tried it.
I should have said in my post asking for best e liquids that it's the tobacco flavours I would like to know about. Out of all the ones you've tried which tobacco one did you like best?

Try to up your nicotine level on your juice. Note that in the uk you can't buy juices on amazon that contain nicotine.

You've just reminded me that I meant to ask which strength of e juice I ought to get? The ones I got from Onepoundeliquid I chose 18mg on four, one 24mg and one 12mg. I hope I did right?
I read that you can't buy e juice containing nicotine on both Amazon and eBay but I've found some on both! The ones I found gives you choice of strength 6mg, 12mg, 18mg and 24mg. What else could that be referring to if not nicotine strength!?

Yes, on Amazon and eBay the mg/ml is usually hidden away with some not-too-obvious-at-a-glance choice or drop-down menu. It's all forbidden, so if you buy and vendor decides not to post it to you, you are royally messed up (polite version).
eBay has been selling e-cigarettes for years. From time to time, they cull the vendors and slap them on the wrist. They don't care, they just want to be 'seen' to care.
Business is business.
Needless to say, I have no time for any of it. I would buy something if it was unavailable elsewhere but only small cost items.
