The Sigelei #13 with RSST and a kick will be very nice vape hardware if that is the experience you are looking for. What resistance coils will you want to make?
I dont know Ryedan, dual coil maybe, anything that makes clouds of vapor, thats what i want

I don't think you need another mod unless you need one for backup. You can make your evic a semi-mechanical mod by swapping out the regular control head with the one below.

The only thing I would say is that if you go with an RDA, get something with post holes. I started out with an Igo-l and while I did like it, after getting a chident it's just so much easier building coils on something with post holes.
If clones low-end stuff doesn't bother you, an all SS Chinex v6 ($14) just delivers. Adjustable air holes, post holes large enough to accept two twisted 26ga kanthal A1, drip well, etc...

If you put a kick in a mech mod you cant go sub ohm. I wouldn't bother with the kick. Would also recommend a The Natural over a Sigelei 13. The Rsst is nice. I have one. Also a AGA-T2.
i just saw a setup video of the RSST and loved it, the guy made a huge cloud, i am definitely going for an RSST.
the other thing is the mod, i dont know if buying a sigelei 13 with or without kick.
i want a mod, and keep my evic, the only problem is that my evic's screen sometimes goes off, and i have to hit the head so it goes back. thats one of the reasons i want a mod.
Other thing, do i need an ohm meter if i buy a mod and the rsst?

Yes you do.
To make huge clouds you need to read up on how to build the coil first... the learning curve is huge but well worth it!
i just saw this video Smoktech RSST setup - YouTube and i loves the cloud he made, it doesnt look too hard to make the coil, i just need practice
I would say grab an AGA-T2 and a Silver Bullet. It's a pretty sweet combo, and I definitely like my AGA's much more than the RSST that is sort of lying around disassembled and collecting dust. Can't go wrong with glass tanks and a configuration that can't leak, either.
If you haven't already, make sure to read up on batteries too. I know you want to blow huge clouds and everything but if you have the wrong equipment it can be dangerous.
Do you know anything about batteries? Amp limits? Continuous/burst? Do you know how to use a multi-meter correctly? Do you know about overdischarge? Protected vs. Unprotected?

To learn the basics of RBAs I would recommend doing what I did and getting an IGO-L and using it with the evic. The evic has short circuit protection as well as many other safety features that can ease the transition. The IGO-L is pretty cheap and easy to work with and even with the evic I had very good performance, and most of the time I stayed below 8W.
After getting comfortable with winding coils and learning the ins and outs of mechanical mod safety, I picked up a Grand Vapor Sentinel yesterday along with a nimbus atomizer and have been extremely happy with the setup.
Learning as much as you can before making the jump can't be stressed enough. When I bought my sentinel and nimbus at a new local B&M, I had them build the nimbus for me just to see the way they do it and to see what kind of resistance they would build. Once finished with the build, the worker seemed pretty proud of the build and when I asked what the resistance was, he said he did not know and had to check. He brought out a tester, and the resistance read 0.3 Ohms. Had I been completely new to RBAs I probably would not have seen any problems with that. To make things worse, when I asked to borrow a battery to test the setup in the shop, they handed me an AW 18490 to use.

The RSST is a great beginner RBA. Just because the guy on the video got a working coil in 5 mins does not mean you will.
They are a B---- to set up. You might want to get the RSST and practice building it before you try to build subohm coils and firing it on a mech.

OK i'm looking into rba building and I know enough to realize 0.3 ohms is crazy low but what is wrong with a 18490 for this situation? Batteries are my current what i'm trying to get a grasp on, is it an amp limitation issue?
dont get the 13. i had my igo-w built dual coil at .6 ohm and was rather unimpressed with it on my 13. i then put it on my mkb-ts and WOW! moral of the story is, sigelei mechs are terrible, have huge voltage drop and require modding to work well. i would go with the EA clone or MKB-TS for a cheaper mech, then an rsst for a genesis type, igo-w for a dripper. both are very cheap and very easy to build.
