Hi ECF !

So , as the vaping community is growing , i'm getting some interest about cloud chasing and vape tricks but i don't know what is the best setup for optimal vapor .

coils :
So , not into coil builds , so pre made coils are nice , and pre made coils might be safer ; if any one at ECF can help on the coils for the most vapor , it's nice .

Items in crazytwists store on eBay!

Mods :
So , for the mods i'm searching regulated mods that are better for cloud chasing , with a better minimum resistance getting at 0.05 Ω , with 2 or 3 batteries , preferable in series and that run in VW. Also , not the RX mods because of the bad 10 connector ; not the Triade dna200 because of the tight battery case ; not the Triade dna250 because the lowest resistance in VW is up to 0.20 Ω .

So it's a list of the mods that might be the best to suggest :
Cartel 160 w ; Tarot Pro 160 w ;
Ipv3 Li 200 w ; Battlestar 200 w ; Fuchai 200 w .

If anyone on ECF has any suggestion or can help on the vape setup , it's nice !

Thanks .

Not sure about all those crazy coils, I can however give my input on a mod.
I use a Sigelei Fuchai 213 on a daily basis. I vape at 54.5w with a Stumpy RDA built at .28, with LG HE2 batteries. I haven't had a single issue with this mod at all. I've had it a lil over 4 months.

Hi ECF !

Mods :
Firstly , the vape will mostly run in variable wattage , with safe HB4 batteries .
Safety first again , i'll go with electronic mods ; maximum wattage for the vape will get at 120 watts to 160 watts , that's up to the coils resistance ; also , not the RX mods because of the bad 10 connector ; not the Triade dna200 because of the tight battery case but still maybe an option ; not the Triade dna250 because the lowest resistance in VW is up to 0.20 Ω .

So it's a list of the mods that might be the best to suggest :

Ipv3 Li 200 w ; Therion dna166 166 w ; Hohm Wrecker G2 171 w ;
Battlestar 200 w ; Fuchai 200 w ; Hedron 200 w ;
Triade dna200 200 w .

If anyone on ECF has any suggestion or can help on the vape setup , it's nice !

Thanks .

A few things to help you. First, the coils you'er looking at are all Kanthal so cannot be used in TC mode. No point looking at DNA boards if you won't use TC (BTW, according to the spec sheet from Evolv, the 250 should fire Kanthal below 0.2 ohm, but if true, that Therion 166 is just a DNA 250 board with 2 batteries).

Second, why the figure of 120 to 160W? That's an awful lot of power, even for those coils. I can fire up dual SS Claptons at well under that and have a good vape with good cloud. The Hedron you list is an RX 200 board in a Vapor Shark box for a lot more money. Whether the build quality justifies paying more than double for essentially an RX200 is up for grabs. A Hohm G2 can be had at a very good price, but I don't know where you're located or what overseas from the US options for shipping them is available.

You also have no price range. The mods you're listing are from quite inexpensive to expensive, so it's hard to know what your budget is. Others to consider might include a Smok Alien which is a small 2 battery mod that will provide sufficient current for those coils. The G Priv with touch screen is another Smok model that seem to get favorable comments.

If high wattage is a must on your want list there are any number of 300W and higher mods hitting the market from a 4 battery RX300 (supposed to be a different 510) to a few models from Smok including a 4 battery, 400W Engine which is on preorder.

Hi !

Well , that's an awesome response you brung !
So yeah , for the TC , that's not what my setup is about since it's mostly for VW ;
As for the wattage range it's the very maximum but it's 120 w for lower resistance coils and 160 w for higher resistance coils , as it might get hot .
also , most of the customers set Tradition Vapes as a bad company , so the coils won't be ordered at Tradition Vapes then .
On EBay there's some coil builders that make crazy coils of high quality with nice customer service .
Items in crazytwists store on eBay!
As for the mods prices i have spared money so it's alright , but won't get very expensive mods . Also the list for the mods that might be nice for the setup is getting more accurate .
Thanks !

I get some great cloud and flavor using a straight build SS coil for TC vaping...26g SS316L, 12 wraps, 4mm ID, dual coil. Ohms out to 0.5 ohms. Stuffed in my Aromamizer Supreme on a DNA 250 set to 125W, 150W punch for 2 seconds, at 475 degrees. You don't need high power for great clouds...you need proper material and the ability to build it yourself.

On a side note, I actually get better, thicker, denser clouds in TC at this level than I do in VW vaping at higher power. Heck, same build on my DNA 75 is great, too, set at 60W and 445 degrees.

Start with a good quality DNA mod and learn it's limits...and enjoy life with it.

I'd go smok alien for the screen lay out or the sigelei fuchai 213 they're both simple to use and will run most rda set ups. I just built a quad coil .14 ohm on a mason 24mm and it produces comp worthy clouds with ease. Or I even like the tugboat comp rda for the compact size and deep juice well. Only problem with that one is u can't adjust ur airflow
