So the package I was waiting for finally came in. My excitement lasted about 10 mins until I tasted it. I don't want to bash the vendor so I'll leave that part out. I have only ordered from two places and they were top notch, everything I got was great tasting from opening the package to the last drop out of the bottle. So I tried somewhere new to me out of curiosity but, this juice I just got is horrible and I can't really tell the different in taste between the flavors no matter what I use them in or on. I tried every combination I had to see if it was tank or carto or whatever else I thought it could be. Being I don't have money for more juice for a while. I tired to stick with it, the taste is like chemicaly if that makes sense and sort of makes me dry heave and get sick. I'm stuck with 60ml of assorted bad juice. I know steeping can help but don't really have weeks to a month to steep this garbage. Is there anything I can do to give this a bearable taste or do I quick steep or something like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

let them sit with the cap off for a few days to a week, its called 'steeping' and usually makes them taste better.

on the other hand, ive had juice from 3 diff vendors that from day one have a very strong "perfumy" taste to it, even after steeping for weeks they still taste horrible, and are unvapable.

Thanks. I'm steeping them now (have been since I tasted this biff) but hoping I won't have to wait weeks. This is the first "batch" I have ever had to steep and was looking for like a quick fix. Also if the juice is unvapable do you just bite the bullet and call it a loss? I had one cig in last night and it made me feel like crap. I'm a man without a country, can't vape this garbage and don't like cigs anymore.

Yeah, hate to say it but about all you can do is put it aside and hope it steeps into something good or your tastes change. If you a a recent non smoker, your tastes will probably change as your sense of taste comes back.

60ml of one juice is a lot to buy, especially if you have never tried it. One reason I only buy my juices at B&Ms. I can taste them before hand.

I would not throw it away. I don't know what flavor you got, but you may be able to change it somewhat.

Go Here:

Perfumers Apprentice - The Flavor Apprentice - World of Flavors

Think of some other flavors you may be able to mix with what you have. Get some 3 or 5ml bottles, put some garbage stuff in a small bottle, add recommended amount of new flavor, shake, stir, heat up, whatever, and try it. If you don't like the new stuff either, you are only throwing out 3 or 5 ml.

If you get several different flavors at a couple of bucks a pop, you may find one that at least makes the garbage, vapeable.

I have had horrible juices....

My solution was to dilute the juice enough to use it as a base for my own custom mixes...

If your mg/ml is higher - you can achieve a dilution quite easily & bump the mg/ml back up when making your mix.....

For example
Someone gave me a boatload of gummi bear which tasted more like a gummi bear's ... than candy....

36mg/ml - I diluted it to 5mg/ml & added base to bring back up to 36mg/ml & then made my mix as usual hitting 10mg/ml final concentration....

My strawbana flavor was unaffected by the bears .......

This sounds definitely like a steeping issue. There are some 'quick' steeping methods. Most juice from American juice vendors is mixed when you order it, meaning that it is very very fresh. This is technically a good thing because it tends to be good to get things fresh. It is rare to find juices that taste good straight out of the mail.

Give the juice some time before closing the book on a vendor. I can only think of very few vendors that I would think out of that many juices, they all were bad.

Ok you all were right it's definitely a stepping problem. It's not the greatest juice around but with the quick water steep trick (which I leaned on this awesome forum) it is at least bearable now. Going to continue to steep it until I need it (I filled a few tanks for the week). Hoping the flavor gets better but if not like I said it's at least bearable now. Thanks everyone for all the help. I was so close to smoking and just calling this purchase a total loss.

My very first batch of juice with my starter kit was some Halo juice. I was horrified when I first tried it (yeah, it was that bad). I immediately put it away and tried the other samples I received. About 2 weeks later, I tried the Halo again and it had turned into a rather tasty surprise.

If you get a juice that just horrifies you when you get it, set it aside for a couple of weeks. You may be pleasantly surprised that it turns into a favorite.

Ok thank you all for the help. So do you think it is more the vendor's juice or more my taste buds? I'm hoping something changes as this is all I got for awhile.

I had the same problem with a well known vendor recently...both were highly recommended on this site more than a few times...but all 3 flavors I received ended up with a chemical aftertaste and the chocolate fudge brownie tasted like baby powder....horrible stuff. Sometimes you just gotta chalk it up to a learning experience and take a loss....but dont give up Rick...you will find what works for you. What kind of flavors are you into so far? Tobacco? Bakery? Fruity? I have a few sample sizes of flavors that I just didnt find appealing..not because they were not "vape worthy" they just werent flavors I cared for. Maybe I can help in some way.

Buying e liquid online is a hit or miss. I ordered from roar vapor recently, their truth serum taste like soap with coconut undertones, their earl grey .... smells like feet and just taste weird. But these two were the only bad ones out of 9 flavors that i received, everything else was good or at least vapable. My local shop has a e liquid bar but i made the mistake of trying things that weren't on it, their black tea was vapable but tasted somewhat like cologne, i asked them to add caramel to their cowboy blend(my favorite e liquid so far) and it almost made me throw up when i vaped it.

Sometimes steeping does the trick but don't think it will work all the time. Shake bottle then take cap off, put in dark for a day. Put cap back on shake and leave in dark for a week. occasionally taste it to see if has made a difference. If it has not made any better you can either throw it, give it away, or experiment more.

Thanks :) I'm mostly into the Bakery and Fruity flavors. I haven't really found a tobacco I liked except a few. I have a shop that sells E-Cig stuff but they are not very good. He has no idea how much nicotine is in his juice and mostly everything I bought from him broke within a week. So I really only have online to shop. I have a few vendors for juice but for some reason I tried a new one and came up snake eyes this time I think

Some good tips here. One more for you.

Buy some sweetener and some menthol flavor - either from the link posted earlier or MBV or wizardlabs or somewhere. With just these two flavorings, you'll be able to make almost any juice vapable. Just add a drop or two into the 15ml bottle, shake and vape.

I've managed to save a lot of frankly disgusting juice just using those two flavorings.

Another option is that since taste is so subjective maybe you could find a friend or somewhere to trade the liquid with someone that has something that you might like better. There are a couple liquids I have that to me taste horrible (like the way bubbles smell or they corn chips) and my husband swears they taste like berries. Thank goodness there are two vapors in my house or there would be a ton of wasted juice. Luckily I also work with a lot of vapors, so I am fortunately able to trade with people I work with.

Everybody knows the best part of a gummi bear is its head. Whoever made that juice was obviously trying to cut corners by using only gummi .... Cheap .......!
