I'm going on a dive trip tomorrow and in concerned about nicotine in my blood while scuba diving. If anyone has experience diving and understands oxygen intake at 3-4 atm I need to know how long I should avoid nicotine beforehand. All the websites I found are about carcinogins and tar (which luckily aren't home to the ecig :) ) so I need o know specifically about nicotine and diving. Thanks

Shame I didn't see this until now - you're most likely back from your trip already. I haven't been diving in a long time, but I was a heavy cigarette smoker (2/PAD) back then and never had any issues. Never went to 3-4atm though, most was maybe a little over 2. I traveled to a lot of places to dive and it wasn't uncommon to see other smokers on the boats. The only issue I ever had was one time I power smoked a cigarette like a min before going under and kinda felt like was going to throw up into my regulator. So, I don't recommend that :) As far as ecig use goes.....I have no idea. I can't see how it would be a problem though.
