How do I learn more/sign up , still kinda new to vaping (started 12/23 and stopped analogs completely on 1/4) and definitely want to help with vaping rights.. As it is I've already encountered issues with it at the factory I work at and would like to be a part in changing it

Korzik, Baldric and Retro, thank you joining the ranks!

Korzik, you need to have 5 posts and wait until about 25 after the hour for the computer to update before you can pm Flavored. You also need five to post outside the New Members Forum. The reason for this is to weed out the spammers and dang if it doesn’t work. You'll see one sooner rather than later.

Trickydick666, go to this link Become a CASAA Member and explore the options in the drop down menus at the top. A lot of very good information. By the way, congratulations on switching from cigarettes to vaping so quickly. Took me months, keep up the good work! That is really awesome.

I’m not sure what problems you are facing at work (but can take an educated guess) and what help you need but do look at the “CASAA Materials” tab. A lot of excellent, informative printable material there. CASAA was born out of ECF and is a nonprofit. Members are volunteers and not paid. It’s held together with Elmer’s glue, bits of cast-off silica wick, sheer determination and donations (that are not ever required to join, or ever for that matter). They do a phenomenal job with what they have to work with. If you have more questions please feel free to ask.

Thank you all for signing up. You guys rock! :toast:

I wish more people felt like that but I also know it is completely overwhelming when you first come to ECF and immediately go into information overload from the get-go. I put it off signing up for a while because I wasn't aware how much under fire vaping was from the FDA right on down to city councils. Finding out how bad it really was a bit of a shock, to say the least. Glad you weren't put off and welcome ECF and CASAA. Nice job!

Yeah the info overload on this site is great though. I knew about the hell vape fans have been going through in places like NYC and now apparently some town in Utah from watching Grimmgreen, pbusardo and RIP Trippers vlogs. I guess I'm lucky that the area I live in is pretty good about vaping. Only place I've seen that actually asks you not to vape is Applebees around here. Needless to say I won't be eating there until they change that policy

I'm getting the impression that last box of Perique and that final fling might have to be vaped "locally." :)

So, what I've been working on are these T3 clearos that I don't use anymore. I've taken to re-coiling my own heads, and wondered if I could get a coil in these, even though the coil head doesn't come out of the base, making it very tricky (and time consuming) to get the coil, grommet (hardest part), and pin in. These should provide a much better vape than the stock coils, may open up a new world to new vapers. I only have 12 of these, and only 11 are ready, good coils around 2 ohms, wicked with the Peaches and Creme cotton yarn from Wally World. Here's what the next 12 new CASAA joiners will get:

View attachment 291719

That's a T3 clearo with a new coil, a spare coil, and a spare base to convert to a T3S, which uses these replacements:

Kanger T3s/MT3s Coil Replacement ** 5 Pack - 2.5 ohms

The clearos have been cleaned by soaking twice in boiling water, 2 hours each time (in a thermos). The coils should last longer than the OEM's, better materials, just dry burn clean and re-wick and they're good to go. I'll do up a tutorial email that I'll share with those that want them.

So, what'ya say, new vapors? Wanna try something better? Even if it doesn't suit you, all it cost you was the few seconds to sign up.

Oh, and by the way, if there are others with T3's collecting dust, PM and send them to me, I'll rebuild and include them in the pile.

(USA only, please, the postage to other countries prevents me from shipping outside).

Make that 2, and maybe 3 that'll go out in tomorrow's mail . . . I decided to re-wick these with just cotton so they'll work better/leak less. Don't mind a little dribble after a tank, but the yarn wasn't working well in my test clearo for that. It's held up well with the cotton and should give better flavor in my experience. There's 8 left, each with a spare coil and a base to convert it to a T3s, as stated above!

Thank you Dimswitch! Your avatar doesn't look much like a dim switch, nor do your actions actually. Thank you for joining the team! CASAA needs all the help we can give them. So glad you're aboard! :)

ETA: And you joined on your third post. Sheesh. Dodn't think I actually "got it" until after I had, perhaps, a hundred posts?
