Help.....What can I use in place of battery spacer

Dummy me ordered 14500 batts (flat) and didnt order any magnetic spacers. I now have some on order. But, what can I use as a temporary fix until my order gets here? Any and all suggestions appreciated. Can I just take a flat fridge magnet and cut out small circles and use those? Thanks in advance fellow REOnauts. Im such a dork sometimes, LOL ! ! !

Using it in the Mini. Still at work, so havent seen my Mini yet. Gonna stop by Hobby Looby on way home to see if they have spacers

My Mini and Grand both work with flat top batteries, the button just has to travel farther down.

Yep flat tops will work just won't feel as nice as button top.

I ordered a bunch of rare earth magnets about the size of the button on button-top batteries that we use on our flat top batteries for Grands and Minis. For us "old timers" just a little help with button action goes a long way.

For my old Woody I use two very thin larger diameter magnets that help it to fire better with the flat top batteries. I don't know why it helps but it does help.

I had to search a bit to get just the right size rare earth magnets. Most e-cig suppliers, if they even have them..... they are larger than the buttons on button top batteries.

I have some AW HD batteries coming in that have button tops, but in the mean time, my flat top HD BDLs are not that old so we have to use them.

Bruce (BigBuyer) from Cloudsofvapor.com had both large and small flat rare earth magnet spacers at this table at Vape Fest in Philly this weekend. He shared some of his space with Jason from Electronicstix.com who I've gotten small magnets from in the past, so I don't know if that was Bruce's stock or Jason's. But either should have both sizes.

The larger ones work great on 18650 and other larger diameter batteries.

Thanks everyone for the advice on the magnet spacers. Found some at Hobby Lobby. Also, ordered some from COV, which arrived today. Now I have 18 rare earth magnets and didnt even need them. Flat tops DO work in the mini but, you do have to press the button further down. However, also received my AW IMR batts in mail today also and they are charging now as we speak. I am good to go. 6 batts now in rotation, batt mag spacers (if I ever need them), more drip tips, Gorilla Juice and 555 from avejuice and, of course my new Mini that I cant seem to put down since receiving on the 24th. Life Is Good in Reoville. I am one happy REOnaut, hehe!!!!!!!
