Hopefully someone can help me....i got my gus telescopic, it's really my first quality mod...i love the look, it's a tiny mod.....so i got it charged a battery and put my normal 1.8 ohm tank on it, it vapes but it's extremely weak and i have to really draw for awhile to get a good hit

i'm comparing it to my vmod 2.0 which is also mechanical and the vmod is blowing it out of the water, even my girlfriend who doesn't really vape except she'll take a few hits from my mods said the vmod is working much better

today i was playing with the pin, i took the spring out per ninja vapes review on youtube and i can't seem to figure it out, i put on a vivi nova, and just a plain 1.8 carto without the tank on there....again it's hitting but nothing like i had expected or near my other 3.7v mod

anyone have any pointers of how to get this to hit more solid so i don't have to take 10-15 second draws to get a decent hit

I've had the same problem, luckily I had a spare Gus g22 bottom button and I think the problem was the Gus telescopic button. As soon as I switched it, it hit strong, just as The same with the g22. Using the stock telescopic button I also had to take a long drag to get a decent hit. The post above me with the gp paps center spring would also help as well. I might pick one up because the hot spring the Gus telescopic comes with is a bother for me. Hope your problem will be fixed soon!

Was playing around with this today. I have the earlier Gus tele with SS contacts. I reversed the battery so the button top is facing the bottom. No spring on top. This resulted in shorter throw, no misfires due to button anymore. Edit: Delrin insulator in place on the bottom button.

Obviously (or not so obvious) DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU'RE USING A KICK. The kick needs the current to go a certain way due to the grounding spring on the side.

I currently just switched out the spring with a solid brass threaded screw. Some fellow on the forums advised me about it and I've been getting stronger hits. I no longer need to worry about the spring collapsing what so ever, misfires, and the telescopic button works flawless now.

i don't have the delrin in my gus, but i turned the battery upside down, it does hit good but without the delrin it constantly fires, i had to laugh at first because i screwed everything together and heard the crackling, i was like wait what is going on here...have to unscrew the telescope part to shut it off, i'll play with the bottom delrin with it upside down
