Hello everyone. I just bought a new to me Provari and ordered two AW IMR 16490's along with the Tenergy charger from ProVape. The first time I charged the batteries one lasted me about 10 hours. Since then the charge times have been decreasing and the battery life has been decreasing also. The first full charge took about two and a half hours. The next charge about 2 hours. And yesterday about an hour and a half. This morning I started vaping at 7 a.m. and by 10 a.m. I had gone through about 2 mL of liquid and my battery which started at 4.1 was down to 3.2 and needed to be charged. This seems bizarre and not right. Can anyone weigh in on what might be going on? Thanks in advance.

I think you mean 18490 batteries for the Provari, right?

4.1V is a bit on the low side. They should be really close to 4.2V off the charger. Check them right off the charger and see what they are, if you didn't do that already. If the battery comes off charge at 4.2V and then in a few hours goes to 4.1V there's probably a problem with the battery.

Have you changed atty resistance and/or voltage on the Provari between the 10 hour day and the 3 hour day?

I would also get in touch with Provape. I'm sure they have a contact page on their website. They give very good support and I'm sure they will help you out.

Good luck with it :thumb:

Yes...18490's! Total brain fart LOL. I haven't put them on a multimeter, but the ProVari shows them at 4.1when I put one in (usually at least 15 minutes off the charger). I haven't changed atty (Nautilus) and typically vape between 3.8 and 4.0. I'll get in touch with ProVape and see what they have to say. Thanks!
