Hey, guys. I'm in the process of designing a circuit for a mod I'd like to build (something I haven't done in about 10 years, but I'm picking it back up pretty quickly). My question is: how do I treat the atomizer in the circuit? Do I think of it as a very small resistor and try to shoot for as close to 9W of power at that resistor as I can?

I'd also like to know the ideal placement for an LED in the circuit. I'm still rusty with diodes and parallel circuits, but I'm guessing I should wire it up in parallel so I don't lose voltage going to the atty.

The current plan is to use two 14500 batteries (so, 7.2V) and drop it down to around 5V for use with regular 510 atomizers.

Any insight into analog circuit design in this context would be greatly appreciated.
