I had an IPV-5 mod first, that was gifted to me by my son when he quit vaping (5 mo, still going strong, he's the Bomb) and that thing is indestructible. I dropped it many, many times, and I have to say it's a total workhorse. Fairly heavy and ugly as sin. Kind of middle of the road as far as features/build, but the cockroaches will be vaping that thing, IMO.
I replaced it (once I quit smoking, which cased health gains and med reductions, and my fine motor tremor went away, and I became less clumsy) with what I really LOVE, a Steampunk Nano Tesla 120 mod. It's supremely heavy, but I actually like that in a vape I'm using on a daily basis, as I'm less likely to knock it over/have it fall. I think I've dropped it badly ONE time, and it was fine. That said, I did put a thick, rubber sleeve on it for protection and to also help with the battery issue (I have to say of everything I've vaped, the steampunk vape was SO much smoother, better, and it is reported to have decent TC, which I was interested in) but the battery door on the steampunk could have done with a better design. The sleeve keeps the batteries in place though it's not pretty like the mod is. Though, I really LOVE knowing how pretty it is, and the quality of the vape alone would have hooked me, too... I'd recommend one, but I'd also recommend looking at one and holding it to see if it's for you. But if/when you make the jump to a removable battery mod, that's one I actually got a backup on as I love it so much. But, that's just me, and I'm not looking for any crazy cloud production or battery life (though at between 7--10.5 watts, I get great battery life on my nautilus 2.) The whole setup looks.... Well, its not pretty.
When my new tank arrives (titanium Kabuki, I am boasting already

) I will probably put it on the silver steampunk I have without a sleeve and just admire it for days, but for me functionality does usually top form factor, it just so happens that one of the prettier things out there is the best vape (for me, right now).
