I'm relatively new to vaping and I've gotten the joyetech exceed grip Pro, I burnt the original EZ coil and tried to put in the 0.8ohm one that's included as a spare. Problem is whenever I try to take a hit basically no vapor comes out. Anyone know what's wrong?

I see the kit comes with a 1.2 and 0.4ohm (pre-installed) coils. Which one did you burn out and at at what watts were you using it at? What watts are using with the 0.8ohm coil?

Burnt out the 0.4ohm, used it at 25-30. And the 0.8ohm is at 20 watts.
I see on their website, the 0.8 coil is for mouth to lung vaping. Is there a way to tighten the draw or airlfow?
MTL vaping is a little different where you need to take a sharper restricted draw into you mouth before inhaling.

In some cases, a quick primer puff will increase the vapor production. This is where the coil gets pre-heated, if you will, then take your draw.
No vapor at all? 20 watts on 0.8 ohm coil should get you a noticeable amount of vapor unless the coil is made of thick wire then it may take a couple few seconds for the coil to heat up, so in that time you may not notice any vapor.
If no vapor at all, like even after 5 seconds of holding the fire button, and you see no other evidence that the coil is getting power, then it sounds like a bad connection or a bad coil therefore no power to coil and no vapor.
Glad to hear it's working. Is this your first vape device? Make sure to prime your coils (put a few drops in the top of the coil before inserting then insert coil and fill tank (or pod) Wait 10 minutes before using. Just for good luck, do a few "primer puffs" (draw air but don't hit the fire button)
This brings up a good point of discussion; what is a “primer puff”?
I always considered it when one takes a short puff while holding the button to heat the coil for a more saturated draw on the second puff.
But after reading your reply, I can see it also meaning what you describe.
