I apologize if this seems stupid but I really have no idea how to help myself. I need to regularly pour large quantiles of juice into squeeze bottles with tiny throats. I imagine this would be a challenge for most folks. I have Parkinson's. I have been unable to locate a plastic reducer this small. 3mm. paper ones clog fast. I have been wasting hundreds of dollars of juice. I just figured I would ask since I figure this is probably not an uncommon task in our hobby. I am just trying to pour from 1000ml bottle to 100ml bottles.

thank you

I have some small plastic funnels that came from a craft store or kitchen type store. I bend one leg of a metal paper clip at 90 degrees to the clip and place/hang that in the bottle mouth. Then I put in the funnel. This causes an air gap and keeps the liquid from burping out. I pour a little at a time and allow the funnel to drain.

holy smokes! I knew someone would have the answer! that is seriously ingenious to use the paper clip. I am going to go kick myself in the head that I did not ask here ages ago. thank you my friend! as for the funnel perhaps there is a smaller one at a chef store. I never thought of that either. looking in darn auto parts and those are too big.

Archer beat me to it! Seems like the perfect solution.

hehehe... i was going to suggest a Ziploc bag, a straw, and duct tape at first but thought of lab wash bottles below but then any big super market has ketchup squeeze bottles so you wont have to wait for shipping:

gee whiz you guys are innovative! call me stupid but I would never have thought of any of these solutions. the ketchup bottle wins because I have one right here lol. I will also use the paperclip to break the vacuum. I can't believe all this time I was embarrassed to ask this. problem finally solved. I honestly would not have thought of any of these. they are all viable in fact. if for some reason the ketchup fails I now have plenty of approaches to this task. thanks guys!

the bottle intact seems best to me. I can pour in the contents to the large opening. screw on the cap and proceed to squirt it into a smaller bottle. your guys insight got me started on the right track. next to the ketchup bottle was a similar clear bottle with contents olive oil. as it was not fine oil I tossed it out. the clear bottle seems perfect. I was wondering about the syringes and lab bottles though. with the viscosity of our liquids that might be tough to squeeze. like ever had a bottle of dr. crimmy's? you have to snip the end because the taper is too narrow for it to flow. I just used my repurposed olive oil bottle and it works splendidly. to think this stuff was already in our kitchen. I had no idea. sometimes good ideas just escape me. it is great to be able to confer with others that share like interests. thanks guys. it is taken care of finally.

on a side note. i can barely manage this still but can get it done. this should be a piece of cake for an able bodied individual. I wish this disease on no one. so thankfully it has not hit my mind yet. I was always a character though lol.

Somewhere around here is my tongue in cheek blog, Redneck guide to DIY where I list common household items for mixing e liquid. Turkey baster can also be used to transfer larger amounts of liquid.
There's a Blog tab in your profile that holds all your blogs :)

You all ingenious! Well done on the ideas! I like the paper clip idea.
