Help with e-juice mixtures.

Evidently I still haven't made it past the five post yet... enough about that. I am modding a bottom feeder. My question is what mixture ratio's should I use to get the e-juice flowing up my line to the atty? I have "toyed" with straight distilled, pg, and vg just to see how they flow. I'm a vg man with my normal mixtures, but I realize I am going to have to thin this way out to get it to flow.

I have tried to search via the search...but I can't seem to get it to work for me.

Any help on any of this would be greatly appreciated.

Well, welcome...and you're almost at your 5 posts then you can post in the Modder's forum. Meanwhile, I use a bottomfeeder exclusively (REO Grand) and I use 100% VG juice usually. I have absolutely no problem getting it to work. Would it not depend on the size of the tube you use?

Honestly, I don't know much about your problem except that I don't have it, and I'd just like to help you get your post count up. A modder may hop on momentarily and have your answer.

I also think it would depend on the size of the tube....I have a REO mini and use 60/40.

Yes it would. But there is a limit to size as the opening in the atty is only so big. I am using the brass from this post....http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modders-forum/95728-tutorial-juicebox-around-8-a.html. To give more info... I am making an 18650 with a 6 ML bottle feeder. It is going into a "BarkOff" case bought from Radio shack. It is wired up with a safety on/off switch, and has a light. I also made a "catch cup". Now, don't mistake me for a "professional" modder... This is just for personal use. It is no means by far perfect.

It also depends on the VG you use. VG from the drugstore is quite thick and could use a little distilled water to thin it while VG from some vendors has been nearly as thin as PG. I typically don't vape more than a 50% VG mixture and that has worked fine in my homemade bottom feeder.

Well I use drugstore vg. With my Silver Bullet, I use a 80/20 vg/dw mix with my mixtures and it works well. I also use a 48 nic juice with a 50/50 mix. I ran tests with straight distilled water and it came out like a fountain. Then I did my straight 80/20 vg/dw mix test and it dribbled out. Then I did a straight pg test, and it did just a little more than a dribble. That has been a while ago... will have to try again. Just thought I would check here to see if I could get any insight. You didn't read that whole thread. Later in it highping cautions against using brass. Some others seem to think that it's okay provided it's not sticking into the juice bottle. Here's the thread where highping talks about the issue. I used a 16 ga. syringe needle. You can get them at Tractor Supply Company. I use 70/30 just fine.

My brass tubing is not inside the bottle. I'm running vynl tubing in the bottle, then it connects outside of it. But I will try the syringe thing if I can't get the other to work. I have plenty of those. Just stocked up from tractor supply.
