Hey there!
I have decided to get my first mod ecig. I want to have a powerfull mod to sit around at home to puff on while I'd rather use my small ecig(vision spinner, iclear 30b) to carry around at work etc.

I have been looking alot at iTaste SVD and VAMO V.5 combined with a AW IMR 18650 battery but I can't decid which one to get yet.
As for the top part of the ecig I'm not sure either what to get, I do have a iclear 30b that I could use on top but I feel like I want to get more out of it. I would love to have a subcoil but it seems kind of tricky to build the tank itself, if there are any good newbfriendly ones please let me know!

I would like to use the mod at ~10W without risking to cause damage to it because of the high effect. Worth to mention is that I love big vapor clouds! :vapor:

I'm asking for you guys to help me out to decide what a smart choice would be for me as a first time mod.
My budget is around $130, I can perhaps stretch a little bit further.:2c:

Cheers

Edit: Might add that the looks are fairly important to me but any suggestions are welcome!

when I bought my first mod I ended up spending about $130 I guess. that's a decent budget to start at for a decent mod. I picked up a Caravela clone from a local shop and it runs on an 18650. while I don't exactly know whether you mean rebuilding the coil or actually messing with a tank; I can't quite give info on that but I know mine is an RDA and I can customize my coils and wick. head to your local vape shop and test some out if the option is available. it's ultimately up to you no matter what we say.

Oh, I meant rebuilding the coil and wick. Unfortunately there is no ecig store anywhere near where I live.
What tank did you get and was it hard to set it up?

my topper has 3 pegs, two positive, one neutral. not sure what brand it is but it's one of the ones where you drip the juice onto the wick. there are no markings to really give me an indication of who makes it, and the shop does a lot of the building themselves so I'm really not sure, my apologies. but it does work very well. I see why you asked online now instead of going and trying since there are no shops near you. coils are not hard to build really, there are tons of tutorials and what not on the Internet. I'm fairly new to mods and RDAs as well since I've only cleaned mine and just watched as the clerk built my coil, but it looked like anyone with a good set of hands and the right materials could build a reliable coil. the topper itself just screws into the mod on a 5/10 like most batteries and tanks. (when I say tank I'm referring to like the big ones that hold a bunch of liquid with the coil not readily accessible.) the only tanks I have are like two little iClear 10s that I use with my iTaste vv/vw 3.0 if I'm out and don't feel like lugging around the light saber-esque mod.

Don't apologize mate, I appreciate your help.
I will keep browsing for information about rebuildable coils and try to learn from tutorials.
