Thanks, ive still got several good 18650's and a smart charger just need to test them to see if they arent dead dead. So keep an rda the hell away from an internal battery mod huh? Lol
I do not trust internal batteries. I only trust batteries reviewed by Mooch from reputable wholesalers like IMR or Liion

Never used the Drop or the Big Baby Beast tank. If not mistaken, the SMOK tanks and coils require quite a bit of wattage (over 80 watts). I vape 30 watts with my Crown 1.

Crown 1 coils:
  • 0.15 ohm Dual Ni200 Nickel Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Coil - 400 to 600 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • 0.25 ohm Dual Stainless Steel Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Coil - 80 to 120W
  • 0.5 ohm Dual Stainless Steel Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm Coil - 30 to 80W
  • 1.2 ohm Single Stainless Steel Uwell Crown Coil - 10 to 30W
Not a fan of internal battery mods. The LiPo chemistry is not a "safer" battery chemistry; they are much more likely to go "KaBoom!" than IMR.
If your internal battery drains dead then you can't vape. If you used external batteries you can simply carry a spare charged battery with you and continue to vape.
And that Lipo is eventually going to die and then you have to replace the entire mod; with external battery mod you simply buy more $6 batteries and can continue to use the mod.
Charging IMR batteries in a dedicated charger is faster and safer than using an internal microUSB charger in an internal battery mod. A better choice in the long term.

Exotic coils vs simple coils? Simple all the way. KISS - keep it simple, stupid.

How many wraps do you ussually have on your coils and what gauge wire?

I guess your asking about when I used to rebuild, which I haven't done in about a year or so. I like working with 26 gauge Kanthal.

I use Steam Engine's coil calculator. I always use an ohm law calculator and measure the coil resistance with an ohm meter prior to firing the coil.

Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law Calculations
