This probably does not have anything to do with the ProVari itself, but with a change in my kit. I used tanks with cartos, and they worked fine, or at least as well as any tank system would.
My Vapemate, though, has been giving me problems with juice leaking into the catch cup. juice seems to leak out between the base of the atty and the 510 connection on the ProVari. There is a gap, less than a fingernail thickness, between the atty and the connection. I had a similar problem on my BuzzPro, but the inner pole is a screw which I was able to tighten down to eliminate the problem. It does not happen with my ePower which does not even have a catch cup.
The auto feeder makes a great combination with the ProVari, although I would not want to be seen in public with it.
I would hate to start messing around with grinding anything (atty or ProVari) since it would be a tricky proposition even with a precision grinder which I don't have access to.
I have noticed on many of my devices that the inner pole is slotted which may allow air to draw through the base and keep any unvaped juice from leaking back down.
There are only two options open to me:
1) A really thin set of washers which are not going to be readily available.
2) Some sort of 510 to 510 adapter with some sort of slot in it.
Autofeeders can be easy to flood an atty if one gets a little to exuberant with squeezing the bottle. The Reo guys call it squonking, but with the Reo the overflow of juice will seep back down into the bottle.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
