I have a hello batt and its not too old (maybe 2 months) I love it and it has always worked great. I did have a problem with the charger a while back and Mark fixed that for me right away, I did not contact them about this problem yet,I thought I would check with you guys first to see if anyone else was having any problems like this. Anyway I charged it last night like normal and when I took it off the charger this morning the light was green as usual. I put on an atty and it did not work, the light was blinking. I took the atty off and pushed the button and the light stayed on????? Have any of you had this problem???? Thanks in advance.

I have not had this issue yet, however, it's been my experience that when the batt starts to act up, it's past the time to have ordered a new one. I have 4 Hello 016 batts (all from MV). The first one (and the other 3) from April(?) is still working. I have learned it is best to have more units in rotation so I don't over use any one unit. Consequently, I now have 17 units to rotate through.

I have a Hello charger that works a bit funny sometimes so I switched it out and use a fast Tornado/eGo charger instead. Also check to see if you have squashed the little bit of silicon separating the center post (pos) and the threaded (neg) area causing a short. You can carefully 'lift' the center post up a tiny bit to reestablish separation. Check this area on the charger as well. Make sure that area is clean and free of 'gunk' (fine metal particles) and centered well. Never over tighten atties. Get a multi meter to check the voltage output of the 'charged' battery and charger connection. Also I think it is possible to push the silicone button part in until it catches on the edges of the metal hole. Make sure it is not stuck 'in/on' It also sounds like juice may have gotten into the switch area (or something somewhere is) causing a short. I hope you have backups. When batteries short out they are pretty much goners.

I started a thread about this exact issue myself. I'm not sure if its the charger screwing up the battery or the other way around but I'm done using the Hello 016 for good. Literally, my roughstack should be in today to replace my Hello 016 that does this exact same thing as of a few days ago. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I'm not really sure what the technical problem is.
