You may need to try some different juices before you settle on anything in particular...Personally, cartomizers deliver better flavor than tanks, but then that probably depends on the individual. When I first quit (Feb. 6th this year) I used DeKang Kamel 16mg and it was a little too sweet for me, but after a few days it mellowed out. I'm now getting into mixing my own juices, but Boba's Bounty and Gorilla juice from avejuice.com are my go toz and what I vape most of the day, I'm buying 24mg/ml and cut it in half...saves me quite a bit on the cost of ejuice. Wizard Labs has great prices on everything for DIY, shipping is reasonable and they have quick turnaround...all things considered I won't be ordering from anyone else for my DIY supplies since I found wizardlabs! hope that helped!

I'm relatively new too, and I too can't always tolerate the sweet stuff. Lately when I feel that way I've been reaching for the Back Woods Brew Vanilla Bean or Casablanca or Hazelnut. Of the three, Vanilla Bean is the least sweet, but it is a very potent juice with a surprisingly strong flavor. According to my wife none of them have an odor. I like it generally but it is too potent to be my ADV. That honor goes to Applewood which is sweet, but not cloyingly so. When I want something different I reach for Malty Toffee (sweet).

There are other vendors out there, but BWB is the first one that I liked well enough to start sampling all their juices, and except for the "Root Beer" I have not been disappointed. Root beer has a strange flavor to me that is not unlike burning tires, but it could be that my tastebuds are still unbalanced from quitting analogs. I'm letting it steep till I figure out that I am tasting things normally.

Good Luck!

Welcome to the forums. Steeping is simply removing the cap and letting the nic liq set in a room-temperature, dark area (away from potential "drinkers" like children and pets. Steeping allows the flavors to meld and also lets some of the additives evaporate. Sort of like letting a wine breath a bit - but for a longer time.

If you still have the funds, you might want to go with some sampler selections at your favourite vendor. Good luck!

Steep in this case means to put something on the back of the shelf and forget about it for an indeterminate amount of time until I feel like trying it again. In the vaping world typically it appears to mean that people try it again once a week until it tastes like they think that it should. Some juices take time to develop their full flavor.
