Help with my new Riva

I ordered a riva starter kit and got it last week from Vaporroom, I also ordered extra e-liquid pg marbro 18mg. I think the riva works ok, but I sure don't like the flavor of the liquid, I can seem to make it taste good. For one thing I think it was too strong, it made my tongue numb and I coughed alot when I inhaled, so I cut it down like I read on here to 12 mg, and it still seemed strong, so I cut it down to 8 mg and now it seems too weak, so I tried 10 mg tonight.. the taste is just terrible, I think I have filled the carts right and I put a drop or two of liquid in the atomizer too, but it just tastes like a cigar!! Or something!!! Has anyone ordered from Vaporroom.net??? Where do you all get your e-liquid???? This stuff is nasty!!!! I cut mine down with vg glyceren from walmart..

I get my marbro flavor from Strictlyejuice (medium nic) and I love the flavor. Course I smoked cheap crappy cigarettes for the lasts several years, so I might have forgotten what a good tobacco flavor is.

I also dig vaperenu's juice but their throat hit is a little too weak for me.
freedomsmokeusa is absolutely my favorite so far. Their banana walnut and Wyatt Earp are incredible.

It took me literally two full days until I got it all figured out. Just stick with it. I was smoking primer, burnt carts, etc and it was pretty rough. Maybe try to avoid the carts for now and just use a blank and drip directly into the atomizer. Then you will actually get the taste of the liquid.

I am new to this stuff, you said to use a blank and drip into the atomizer, what is a blank?? I smoke cheap cigarettes too, but this marbro flavor tastes more like a cigar to me. I am not sure if I am filling the carts right or what is wrong. Thanks for the help.... I will check out vaperenue's.. Thanks Vaporroom don't seem too good to me..

The cart that was on the atomizer when you first opened it and there wasn't any filler in it, that is a blank. You can also just pull the filler out of the cart and that would now be a blank.
The only juice involved is what you drip directly into the atomizer. Be sure not to let it run dry as that will blow the atomizer. You'll know when it gets dry, no flavor, no vapor and metallic-yuk taste.
Until you get the cartridge with filler down, I advise not to drip. All of this is a learning process.
In the beginning I was so frustrated and smoked more cigarettes getting it right-ugh. So worth the effort and time. All is good now that I have taken the time and effort to understand all the components, what they do and how it all ties in to one another. Good Luck and have some patience. It will work out.
