Got an OBS crius a while ago. Decent little tank but dual coil only. That's not a problem but I was wondering about a serial dual coil (two coils on same piece of wire)

Should be fairly straight forward but I was wondering about the middle section of wire. I'm thinking it will be a bit of a pain getting it to clear the post on whichever side it goes. I'm thinking maybe I'll put the middle bit sort of diagonally across?

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the version with the velocity-style deck, two posts with two holes on each post? In any case, you'll not actually getting a series coil setup electrically speaking. The coils will still be setup in parallel, with the resistance halved, unless you use a special post configuration that allows you to run coil A from the negative post to a neutral post, and coil B from the neutral post to the positive post. There is once such atty that I know of, but I can't remember what it's called.

No, velocity type deck. Think I'll just have to stick to the normal dual coil set up. Thanks for the advice.
