Hey guys I just bought a nimbus rda. I'm using it on my itaste v3. I'm new to coil building and all. I'm using cotton with 30g kanthal. When I do a single coil build it fires up fine but still doesn't seem to vape as well as I want to. Every time I do a dual coil build it won't fire. Even if I do only one or two wraps on each coil (I'm wrapping around a 3/32 drill bit). Why can't I fire dual coil?? Any advice?

Have you drilled the air hols bigger? no since making dual coils if you dont have more air. I agree with MYK for once;-) You need to do some research if your not in to reading old threads on the subject lots of info on youtube. Its a good thing you have a regulated mod you can get into trouble fooling with sub ohms and IMR batteries.

Your resistance is waaay to low for an MVP. How many wraps are you using on your single coil?? Take that number of wraps and double it on each coil just to get the same resistance as your single coil.

Here is a dual coil build of 30ga on an Igo-W and as you can see it's .80 ohms (micro coils with cotton wicks - cloud monster!!)

Perfect guys thanks for all the responses. Yes I was thinking backwards. More wraps worked no problem. And yes I drilled my holes out to a 3/32. I planned on buying a k101 with my nimbus but I'm glad I diddnt. Having a regulated mod is definantly helping with the learning curve! Once again thanks, can't tell you how much help this forum has been!!! She's firing great now. Happy New Years all!! Glad I can get my nic again while drinking :)
