I was wondering if I could get help on ordering a Reo. I have read in other threads, to order an extra spring. If you were placing your first Reo order, what all would you put in your cart, Orings, caps, anything else you would need? I did notice there were a couple different size orings. How do you know what size to order?

Thanks in advance!!

Apart from the REO and the RM2, I would definitely order a set of replacement screws for the RM2 (you will lose at least one of them within the first week I almost guarantee it)

The O rings are to allow you to position the airhole on the RM2 correctly. I believe that when they are drilled, the same sized O ring that is supplied with them is used, so it should line up right out of the box. I know mine did. I think they are 25 cents, so if you want, get one of each size. You can always experiment with them.

I don't know about buying a new spring, I don't have the expectation that my spring will fail anytime soon so all I got was the extra screws for the RM2, some extra juice bottles and a brass cover for the button.

You might want to get a couple of extra bottles for juice. They are pretty hardy but I like to switch out my juice a few times a day, so having extras helps. If by chance you have any of the small bottles of juice from Fancee Juice, they are the same bottles.

EDIT to add that if you forget something they are usually pretty good about maintaining inventory of the little extra stuff you may need, and shipping is about $2.50 so it won't be the end of the world if you need to order something later down the line.

Thanks InTheShade!! I have never built a coil either, so I will need all that stuff too. I guess the wire and silica wick is all I need for that. I do have an MVP2 that I can test the coil on, I just haven't ever done it. LOL I so want to do this, and just know i can. Is there anything else you can thing of that I might need? TIA

I agree with bones1274 deb, head over to the REO forum and have a read or post a follow up question there - they are super friendly and super knowledgeable.

I will just add that if you don't feel comfortable with building coils, you don't have to. The REO will work perfectly well with a regular non-rebuilable 510 (unsealed) atomizer.

One of our ECF members (Superxdrifter) has an excellent video on youtube about how to build a coil on an RM2. It's a really good video and actually gave me my 'aha' moment to help with building better coils.

Just as a point, I don't have a torch like he does to anneal the kanthal wire at the start of the video, I just use a regular Bic lighter. I also don't use the coil jig he uses, I use a 1/16 drill bit to wrap on. Take a look, it's easier than you might think.

if you've never built a coil, get yourself the artistic wire econo coiling gizmo. here's a demonstration...

here's the introduction thread... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/510520-coils-made-easy.html

ideally, you'll want the REO, RM2 (reomizer 2.0), different size o-rings so you can choose what direction the air hole in your RM2 faces, some good button top batteries if you don't have any and the repair kit applicable to the model you choose. bottle cap o-rings, screws, extra bottles, etc. are at your discretion IMO.

Wait a week or two. The new subohm kit will be installed on all existing stock of Reos. They were shipped to Rob on Friday so it should be happening soon. This will change the parts your REO will require.

Also noalox wont be a requirement anymore. And if you have an existing REO the upgrade kit will be sold separate.
